It's now a farce on a massive scale. We have all the football governing bodies clambering over each other to save Rangers (Rangers who are currently not even a football team). When are they going to realise that nothing but application into the SFL will do? It baffles me at how far they are pushing the huge majority of fans on this. All we want is the system to be fair and the simple example is that if Motherwell had gone through what Rangers had in the last few months then we would be sitting furiously putting together a bid to get back into the SFL. Its that simple. We also have this from Andrew Wilson: Article I would say about 99% of Rangers fans want to start again. They want to work their way up from the bottom and come out the other end a clean fully functioning football club. If they are let in through some 'hook or crook' scheme then they will never come out of the shadow of their past. Forget the money - it will always come back. But what won't is the systematic erosion of the Scottish game to accommodate a corrupt non entity. Game over if this goes through.

This whole argument is based on sky pulling the plug on a tv deal. Has there been one single bit of evidence from sky that they will do this?

I actually think this vote is pointless. I doubt Rangers will be a football club by August.

Great announcement but it is still quite a grave message from the club. We could be looking at major cuts and potentially job losses.

I read the depressing Motherwell statement in the Metro today. What baffles me is that these clubs don't seem to fully understand what a 'yes' vote will mean. Personally I can't see our game recover - there will be boycotts across the league and a huge percentage of people will never ever come back. Celtic fans will boycott the games of people who said yes and Rangers fans will boycotts the clubs that said no. Then you have all of us fans who will just never go back. So why is that even a difficult decision? Yes I understand there could be financial pain, but I would rather see us lose our first team than see Scottish football die on its arse. This decision goes way beyond money.

The small tax case is in the CVA - as Fatcalf says the big tax case has still to be decided. Rangers are still not paying PAYE - when they went into admin it was sitting at about 10 million - it must now be close to the 15 million figure so thats what HMRC are trying to claw back via a CVA.

My one issue with McCall has reared it's ugly head again. Great manager but a fucking Rangers sympathiser bar none. Why are all these managers coming out and saying this week in week out when each week we find Rangers scale of cheating is now enormous? McCall has went way down in my estimations after this debacle.
