The small tax case is in the CVA - as Fatcalf says the big tax case has still to be decided. Rangers are still not paying PAYE - when they went into admin it was sitting at about 10 million - it must now be close to the 15 million figure so thats what HMRC are trying to claw back via a CVA.

My one issue with McCall has reared it's ugly head again. Great manager but a fucking Rangers sympathiser bar none. Why are all these managers coming out and saying this week in week out when each week we find Rangers scale of cheating is now enormous? McCall has went way down in my estimations after this debacle.

We do give young players a chance. I take you have forgotten that Hutchinson, Saunders, Ojamma and Carswell have all played this season? What exactly do you want though Ya Beezer? Do you want to break up a team that has made it to the champions league? Our youth system works like this. A player leaves ( for example - Lasley) and a guy like Carswell will come in. Also yesterday was a chance for the team to get a decent send off for the that got us third place. And as for Forbes I thought it was decent of McCall to give him a final run out for the club.

The simple reason attendances are low is down to cost. Nothing else. Drop the ticket prices and watch the stadiums fill up. It's nothing to do with the quality of the football.

The last two performances from Motherwell have been amazing. These guys will have been under a fair bit of pressure and to come away with two comfortable wins shows you what a great group we have and also we have a brilliant manager at the helm. It's not done and dusted yet, but if Dundee Utd drop points tomorrow then you have to say that what McCall has done this season is probably the greatest achievement of any Motherwell manager since McLean won the cup. We have the smallest squad in the SPL, a 20 year kid at the heart of our defence and a bench of kids plus grampa Craigan. Stunning stuff from us this season and what makes it even more satisfying is that people on here or in the ground who slate the team or individuals like Higdon or Murphy can eat a big slice of humble pie. This might never happen again so savour it.

This thread was nonsense when it was first published and is even more nonsense now. We are sitting third and only a few weeks ago had a realistic chance of second. Not often we can say that. I think our recent form is down to us starting to run out of steam a wee bit. But we have been very consistent throughout the season with no massive dips in form and thats down to our manager. The only reason Dundee Utd are so close is the fact they have been the best team in the league for about 3 months. If they had done this from the start they would be challenging Celtic right now. I would not be one bit surprised if Dundee Utd caught us. If we can hold onto third then it would be one of the finest achievements of any Motherwell manager since Tommy McLean won us the cup. And to top it all off we have played pretty decent attractive football all season.

We are in pole position, but I do think the game against Hibs is massive. If we lose and the other two win then its down to 2 points and its basically anyone's game after that. If we can go into the split either 5 or more points ahead then I think we have a great chance. There is a massive incentive for all these clubs and they will all be trying their best to get that Champions League spot. Also I wouldn't rule Hearts out just yet.
