apparently we missed a major signing.
"Michael, do you want to come back to Fir Park?"
"Due to international transfer rules, I can't play for a Scottish club this season"
"Ah"

Tom something?
Good ground control

In a heartbeat, but any doubts I'd have are less about his age and more about would that be the right way to prioritise spending a limited wage budget?
... especially if he couldn't play for us anyway, I was about to say.

see Higdon released by Sheff Utd. Would we take him back? Not sure his age now though.

Craig Reid released https://twitter.com/MotherwellFC
Wish him all the best. That goal at Aberdeen was great.

When does this Scottish transfer window actually 'slam' shut?

Stevie Hammell's first touch is the best I've seen at Fir Park, the amount of "passes" that are launched at him and he stops dead is unreal.
Been saying that for years... glad someone else has noticed

Man United have just moved up a place in my "despicable clubs" list.
Why do you say that? I realise we're guessing as to the terms and conditions of his loan to us, and of his move to Preston or wherever, but as I see it the loan has worked well for all parties. For MFC he came in to the first team and made a positive contribution. For Man Utd, they're presumably reducing their outgoings on wages (and / or getting a fee) for a player who's unlikely to get into their first team. For the player, he's shown himself capable of first team football at a decent level, and presumably got a good contract at the end of it.
I'd much rather loans worked out like that than say like Jake Taylor's, where no-one has got much out of it.

Tough one, went for Skippy but Ripley's saves were also crucial
My thoughts exactly.

Perfect fixture to allow us gents to participate in some last minute Christmas shopping and support the wife at this busy time.
Good day at the shops?

Very happy with that, pretty low risk (potential upside outweighs the worst that could happen?) and really really hope it works. He's looking fit.

Just saw a note on the official site re an auction for some of the strips... But clicked on the link and there's nothing there... Am I being a muppet, or is it closed already?

He was at the pre season games in Holland. Noticed the players getting weighed at half time.

"The 22-year old has signed initially until early January..."
Perhaps it's with a view to signing a permanent deal later?
-
"We certainly have... I wouldn't be surprised to see him move on in the next couple of weeks
Maybe he's got a granny from Larne and is up for a call-up?!

With McDonald in, can someone who has been to the friendlies tell us what they think the striker hierarchy is likely to be?
Fletcher and McDonald is my bet

Arrived Amsterdam. Anyone else planning to take the train up to Rheden this afternoon?

I imagine getting Marvin on the extended (and presumably improved) deal so soon after joining us is also a good selling point for attracting other players: here's what can happen if you do well

I know hes already gone but, Carswell to St. Mirren, hope it works out for him. Very good move!
Shall we start the countdown before he signs for us again?
-
They'd be mad if they did given the jersey is probably the most visible part of any deal.
I'd have thought the most valuable part of the shirt sponsorship is the TV and press photo coverage etc, where you reach lots of people. On the other hand, the visibility from seeing your logo on a few hundred shirts walking around Lanarkshire is probably limited... so why not at least offer the option of fans buying the shirts without a logo?

First draft of a wee idea for an intro, not sure if it works or not
Great! it's magic listening back to those Rangers call-in comments with the benefit of hindsight. At the time they just make your blood boil. Anyway, if you're after a constructive suggestion... not sure how long it's going to be in the end, but there's maybe a bit of repetition in Baraclough's comments, so an opportunity to edit / reduce a bit?

Lee McCulloch is free....
... or do you mean "still at large"

On the Macron website (https://custom.macron.com/Pages/Sport.aspx) you can fiddle round with the templates and colours. For some reason I couldn't post an image, but you can come up with some pretty good claret and amber strips with a sash.

Most of my mates are Celtic fans and they said that the Kerrydale St website turned part of the forum claret and amber yesterday. Got a screenshot but on my phone so can't post it.
Always thought it hilarious when Aberdeen fans sang, "we hate Rangers more than you" at Celtic games.

Ripley or Kennedy, and went for the latter... I also thought Moult had one of his quieter games given his recent high standards, but he still won the game for us. What a team.
