  1. you need to out battle them in midfield. today we were to light in that department.
  2. perhaps but d,aley never once tracked back to help hammell when he was on the park. Our problem today was that jennings was the midfield, he got no help from carwell or law, and was bound to tire. We missed lasleys drive.
  3. Looking at the bbc website there is a picture of Lennon and FORSTER confronting the referee. Lennon's been discussed, but surely the authorities should be looking at Forster's conduct, and be offering him a ban. We've have had players banned for nothing compared to Forster's apparent threatening demeaner towards the referee. Perhaps someone more technical than me can point relevant authorities to this incident.
  4. hearts have proved nothing that we dont know already. You need to get in and about them for the full 90 mins. Professional curtisy would say we should clap them onto the park. As i would also say please dont abuse Lennon. Shows we are above all there bitter nonsense, and are a respectable club. Roar our own team on, and all that.
  5. they are young players, who will have their ups and downs. They have also played alot of games.
  6. we did merit a draw as hibs did nowt in the 2nd half. we huffed and puffed and got our only real break of the ball all game. thought big hutch & page did well in keeping their front two quiet.
  7. Page deserved both cards, but was unlucky we very caught short at back after giving the ball away in attack.
  8. we need a lift. who should get sent off?
  9. that last bit of play hibs had 8 players in and around the edge of their box.
  10. our current assistant Kenny Black.
  11. and watch out for their officials to be appointed. whats the wee baldy bassa (linesman) called?
  12. to be fair it aint just our support. As for the individuals they are obviously from the schooling of negativity is the best course of support. Hopefully Tom wont dwell on it to much.
  13. even if money for the club does not concern them, you would think a professional player would bust a gut to get the chance of champions league football. At this point in the season, players cant be excused for lack of effort.
  14. perhaps we need to go back to the old tactics we had before ojamaa arrived for away games. Maybe we are just a little to open. We dont need to chase games away from home. Page has been unlucky given that until the Aberdeen game he rarely played in his correct position. Where as Hutchinson waltzed into his best position and looked the part, althougth still capable of the odd mistake given his lack of experience. As someone said we are picking up alot of bookings for nothing, which begs the question about officials bias. Perhaps, bskyb had a wee word in the ear of the officials to ensure a tittle play off tomorrow! Seems daft to say that, but it seems they already dictate to much to our league for entegrity not to be questioned. Our players made mistakes that cost the goal, but perhaps the early bookings was enough to put certain players off their game.
  15. I wish people would stop saying bad day at the office. If office workers had as many off days as professional players they would be out of a job pronto. Anyhow, killie was always going to be a difficult game, and i would have grabbed a draw beforehand. However, worrying it seems we failed to turn up in the second half, and then make stupid mistakes. Seems a theme to our game of late to only play in parts of games., We've perhaps been lucky to get away with it, but now we really need to knuckle down and fight for every point. It's now time our players and staff smashed this Rangers hoodoo. Our club needs the extra revenue, which would go a long way in securing our future and perhaps some of the players futures.
  16. No way will we get 2nd. We just dont seem to have the mentality to get over the winning line. We have done very well this season, but this is the business end of the season, and is where we find the men from the boys.
  17. Uncertainty and divisions, aye very good celtic. yet their talk of leaving the spl is ok? Call there bluff. They have more to lose, big salaries/squad and all that.
  18. Iain Ferguson, Ian Angus, Stevie Kirk
  19. consistancy would be nice. Why is the compliance officer even getting involved with McCall. It was the referee's decision to send him to stand, which he did and served his punishment. Yet, if a referee deems a player to be in breach of a rule, he is booked/sent off and nothing else is done by the authorities. So is the compliance officer is now going to deal with cases already dealt with by the referee? So ineffect this officer is undermining the referees, something that the club staff aint allowed to do! It seems this officer has issues with our club, and it's time we got our lawyer involved much like Celtic. Seems it's the only way. p.s. Think McCall should ask for clarification on what is acceptable, i.e. complain in person privately or go on national tv and more or less call the referee a cheat.
  20. dont count on it. Remember apparently we need the old firm
  21. the thing is the old firm see us a proper threat and treat us slightly differently to others in the spl. Rangers seem to raise their game, Celtic were ultra cautious last game, althought they probably dont need to. To beat Rangers we need to score first and have the officials on our side for once!!
  22. i dont think people dont rate him, it's just he aint developing the way we had all hoped. He still scores goals, but could do alot better, and probably he knows that as well. McCall playing him on the left when he appears better on the right aint helping, and likewise he should be doing everything in his power to increase his strength. Maybe we just expect to much from him, given that he's carried the team on many occasions.
  23. lasleys season could soon be over with all these bans. Diving into tackles in the middle of the field is stupid and irresponsible.
  24. just goes to show how bad scottish football is that Murphy has reached double figures whilst playing in midfield, whilst having a very poor season. Meanwhile Ojamma, a player who could not buy a contract as a player, joins us and rips defences to pieces. Murphy's problem is his apparent lack of confidence, and strength. Strength can be gained, confidence is the difficult part. He has the ability.
  25. he needs to bulk up, and we've been saying that for many months. he's been playing better on right and today he was back on left. why?
