  1. aye this not knowing means i have not been able to sleep since Saturday night
  2. Hibs are a no bad side with a decent attacking threat, with luck on their side. Historically we've struggled at Easter Road, and theyve already beaten us, so i guess todays defeat was hardly a suprise. Sure mistakes are being made, but perhaps in the grand scheme of things, this may help the team to improve in the long term, as long as the learn from these mistakes of course! Patience chaps, Jimbo will get it right.
  3. The media coverage of Scottish football has become a farce. The unprofessional biased commentary, the 30 seconds of highlights, the ignorance of journalists and pundits that know nothing about football (yet apparently played it for many years, scary!) about the real issues in scottish football, the old boys network, poor referees etc etc Then we wonder why a guy who has just come into the scottish game with an open mind, who likes to speak his mind, wont speak to the cretins that are helping to destroy our game. Proper journalism would be to actually raise the debate about the issues that Jim raise, rather than criticise, twist and abuse our manager. I am sure we will get to know Jim's thoughts through the clubs officials outlays in due course.
  4. the bottom line is that we are a very hard team to beat, and that we are heading in the right direction. Frustration is all part and parcel of supporting the 'well. Whilst, it's great to bag 3 points, it's good given how young our team is, not to lose against a good solid team who are highly respected. Given abit of patience and proper backing we can improve and be successful. Won't hold my breath mind you on that last bit. If we keep going as we are and clear out the dead wood, bring in one or two more players we will be fine.
  5. perhaps we need to drop craigan again!
  6. I thought the same the other night against Inverness. The two strikers were to far apart, and did not link up. We also seem to be missing a right sided midfield player. On the left you have Hammell and O'Brien linking up, but over on the right we have Yass and noone. Perhaps play yass at right midfield with saunders at right back. Unless other players take responsibility and cover for our attack minded full backs then opposition teams will expose our defence down the wings. Forbes seems to cover left back, but who is ment to cover right back? Alhough we got beat, we still seem to be going in the right direction, and given time and with the fans patience we will improve and become a good solid entertaining team. Hibs have mugged a few teams this year by having better strikers, which i am sure is costing them abit of money. So no shame. One thing i will say is it's a nightmare for those of us who were not at the game to work out who had a good or bad game given the fans views on each players performances. For example Yass was to blame for all goals, yet another thinks he was our best player!!
  7. Hibs are a dangerous team, and whilst you would hope to win your home games, I would take a point from this match.
  8. There should be designated standing areas throughout the stadium. Thus, those that want to stand do not block the view of those that dont. As things stand (or not ) this issue will not go away, and won't be addressed by the authorities until such time that all fans act together. All fans at all clubs (as it's a problem at all clubs) should stand in protest, and all walk out when any individual is escorted from the premises. Chances of that happening are probably nil mind you. Throwing people out of a stadium when they were standing at the far end of the East stand where the pitch view down the touchline is very poor, and where they are not blocking the view of fellow fans is a joke. It seems you can stand at any major event, or journey in public transport, but not a football match with less than 30% of the stadium full. madness.
  9. brilliant result and should do wonders for the players confidence. Onwards and upwards.
  10. very good team performance, with Pollock and Lawless the standouts. The mighty gers aint so mighty it seems and infact looked a very poor disorganised collection of players. 'That Hat' checked the Rangers website to see who the wee hitler on the touchline was, and it turns out he's the guru (director) of the youth academy Jim Sinclair. Explains alot, who would want to play football for that loud mouth fool.
  11. story of MFC, so close yet so far. Our history is littered with incompentent or even perhaps bent officials who have wrecked any chance we had. We should all be used to it by now, but it still leaves a bitter taste. We are improving as a team with each passing game/week. That is all that we can ask given the mess that McGhee left behind. For 1hr we mixed it with the big boys and had them rattled and all this with a very young team. Hopefully, their experience of european footballl will drive our players and give them the hunger to get back into europe next season.
  12. if he does not rate Hammell, then surely Craigen, Reynolds, McGarry days are numbered also, as IMO they are poorer players. We need players in before more are moved out.
  13. reynolds ball watching at third
  14. what was reynolds doing there?
  15. the defence is being exposed left right and centre as the midfield are missing. Sutton needs a partner thru the middle beside him, as his knock downs are being wasted.
  16. they are running past our midfield as if they are not there.
