  1. The game was pish for the most part, we should have won it with the chances we had at 11 v 10 but when we had the same numbers it was fairly even, if anything they probably edged it. The crowd in the corner was more interesting, the Accies fans seemed to take offence at not being allowed down the stairs in that corner resulting a few getting chucked out and the fat guy who resisted probably feeling like a right tit as he spends the night in a cell. Our fans weren't too bad, a few things thrown into the home stand and a couple of flares midway through the first half.
  2. Katie would be embarrassed to have something like that sent under her name.
  3. People are over complicating our poor crowds, it's down to money. Prices have went up, fair enough it's only a pound but for a family that's £50+ a season and quality has went down so it makes people even less inclined to go when we're playing shite and they're charging more.
  4. That was one of the worst games I've ever been at and it deserved to be 0-0 just for the fact that both teams were sh1t. We showed a slight improvement in the second half but St Johnstone looked a pretty poor side too. Lasley and the 2 centre backs had decent games but the rest were poor, Ojamaa tried too hard, Ainsworth didn't get on the ball enough, ZFA is not a defender, Reid just isn't good enough for me.If this is our level then it's a relegation battle this season. Another terrible crowd as well, our home crowds are dropping by the game.
  5. I don't buy into that sort of thinking that it's been a long hard season and players need months to recover. They had a month off to recover and the least that should be expected of professional footballers is to keep themselves fit during the break.Fair enough they won't be match sharp, more friendlies would've helped with that but when 3/4 of our key players are knackered after an hour then there's clearly something wrong.
  6. Most of Hamilton's players have never played at this level and they look fit enough. Our shit start can be traced back to our pre season or lack of, we should have had more proper friendlies not closed door kick abouts and the 'training camp' in Portugal was pretty much a wee holiday for the players. Most of them have come back short of fitness and in a league where there's not much between a lot of teams that makes a big difference.
  7. Performances on the pitch usually don't have that much bearing on our crowds. If we were pumping teams 5-0 every week and top of the table in March we'd still be struggling to get 7000, if we're near the bottom come the last few games we'll be getting 7000-8000.The 3500 season ticket holders will be there nearly every game anyway so I can't see our crowds dropping below that.
  8. Not much width there, looks like pump it up to Sutton and hope for the best.
  9. Decent result but if that's our level we'll be mid table at best this season.St Mirren will be near the bottom but if they had somebody who knew how to cross and a decent forward they'd have pumped us by 5 or 6.Really fear for us in midweek and wouldn't be surprised if we get another doing there because they won't be as wasteful. On the plus side Twardzic had a good game and we won, that's about the only positives to take from it. ps what a poor crowd for an opening game, 3600 home fans pps Nicky Laws bird is
  10. Can you even say those are the teams we'd have played if we beat them? Not sure but are the pots not done according to each teams co-eff points so we would have been a higher placed non seed meaning we wouldn't have got Poznan?
  11. Going by the stats I saw it was 45-10 on shots to Poznan over the 2 legs, some pretty pathetic finishing if they can't find the net with 45 shots.
  12. Fair enough we've looked pish in the 2 euro games and haven't had a great pre season but St Mirren have lost a couple of their 'better' players and they were crap most of last season anyway. It's a much better home game to start with than Aberdeen, Utd where we might well get pumped but I really can't see them taking advantage of our missing defenders and at the other end our attacking players are better than their defenders. 3-1 us!
  13. I expect they would've filled the away stand, Polish teams are always well supported in the UK.That team Utd had a couple of years back took 2000 and they were a relatively small club by comparison.
  14. People don't half get carried away after a couple of poor results. This is far from the worst European result suffered by an SPL team, it's probably not even our worst result.
  15. If any station has coverage of it then there'll be a stream somewhere.
  16. If it was we'd probably be in the same region as them anyway. Don't get why people would book their flights etc without being confident they would get a ticket.Everybody knew it was a small ground, we could have had less tickets if they'd stuck to the 5% rule.
  17. Would LP not have to agree to a switch? Which they surely wouldn't given that it would give us an advantage playing at home second.
  18. Play like St Johnstone. In the last 2 seasons they've won a cup and are on the verge of getting another very good European result against a decent team.If anything we've had and still do have better players than them but when it comes to big games they've been doing something right recently.
  19. Not sure I share your optimism. For a start they're a lot better than Lannelli, they'll be more used to their plastic pitch, we still won't be at full fitness/sharpness and they look not bad on the counter. They'll sit in, play on the break and if they score first we're in serious trouble, can you really see us scoring twice against a team that parks the bus? I still think we will win but if I took the c&a specs off and look at how the game went yesterday i'd say we're only very slight favs to go through.
  20. LP would bring a good crowd so if we get through i'd much rather get them.
  21. Hammell had a shocker, every time they got forward down that side he was standing off giving them easy crosses, Reid was nearly as bad on the other side and his use of the ball was dire every time somebody closed him down.We were too slow on the break, poor in defence and second to nearly every ball in midfield.Their second pen looked very soft but going on clear chances they probably deserved a draw.
  22. Will try and get a vid up tomorrow, see the Icelanders joined in too.
  23. Those games were in Airdrie. Our lowest at fir park was Breidablik and that was just over 5000, would expect something similar.
  24. We'd have a chance against those Scandinavian teams, really don't fancy our chances against about half of those seeded teams. As for the Icelanders, 2-0 and 1-1.
