  1. He may just be washing his hands of the whole thing. That's a few resignations in a few weeks. May be entirely coincidental mind you.
  2. Was just about to post that. As you say, interesting. Remain unconvinced that we have the fanbase to sustain this.

Ross County's run started in Dec or something did it not? Anyway, would far prefer Accies went down. Not because of any rivalry, purely because it's a dreadful place to watch a game.

    Mark McGhee

Was about to say similar. Maybe the arrogance is a positive in his decision-making at times. We've won twice at Parkhead under him. I quite like him, in a sort of loveable-bellend kind of way. Maybe it's his likeness to Muttley Said on other thread, quite excited to see what he can do again after a full pre-season. The 3 up top, quick counter-attacking is good to watch. The play-offs were epic and topped of an exciting/nervous season last yer. I'll be quite happy with mid-table mediocrity just now though, especially given the start to the season.
  5. I think the thing with Thomas is, he needs game time in the first team. He's a standout in the 20's and needs to adapt to the step up. Fot some it comes naturally (Cadden/Hall), but Thomas is definitely an asset. One thing I would note, alot of the time he has doubled-up on/had a few defenders around him. But agree, just needs to work on decision-making and end product.
  6. Enjoyed that last night. As someone said earlier, reminiscent of McGee's last tenure with the trident counter-attack. Quite a few good performances. Johnson seems to be getting back to his best - Just needs to work on his finishing. Cadden again doing everything asked of him. Been critical of McDonald on the odd occassion, but linked and held the ball up well again. Thought Lasley was decent for the time he was on. United were a bit robust, but not going to criticise that - I'd expect us to be scrapping for our lives in their position as well. McGhee has us going in the right direction. Without being presumptuous, pretty excited to see if there's another gruelling pre-season and if we come out all guns blazing like his first season last time round.
  7. This. Was close to not bothering today because of it. Dreadful.

If we time a purple patch right, we may be lucky and scrape top 6. Even 7th would mean teams below us cutting each others throats. Win our game in hand and we're 6 ahead of Killie with games running out. Very much up to us if we stay up or not.
  9. Have criticised McDonald in past, but him or Cadden for me. Will go with McDonald.
  10. Could get awkward if Partick have to fit in 5 games before split.
  11. If he wasn't a 'fan', people wouldn't be questioning him. I don't see threads (directly) about Derek Weir etc. Everyone starts from somewhere. I've always thought he's conducted himself pretty well.
  12. Tend to agree. Whilst it's not quite as easy as "If it ain't broken, don't fix it" due to oppisition tactics etc, there is some merir in it. If it means Hammell, Pearson etc on bench, so be it. I don't think there can be grounds for complaint. Priority is points. Re: Gomis - The bad bits of play I've seen him in have tended to result from (in part at least)team-mates giving him hospital passes etc. He definitely offers something. Hearts fans were screaming for him back on Tues.
  13. 8th, although, Partick have 3 games in hand. Mind you, we are 3 pts away from the 2 teams above.
  14. Luckily, you can't be offside from a corner
  15. Yep, especially when changes are made and we almost concede immediately.
  16. Not bbc, but:match commentary on mixlr channel http://mixlr.com/motherwellfc/
  17. Its ridiculous how many times he's offside. He seems as oblivious to being offside as Ainsworth is to tracking runs.
