  1. Much like the FA cup where a "minnow" gets a draw with a big team, Llanelli failed to kill us off and I tend to think they may not have done enough. The second leg should (I hope) see us through.
  2. I would tend to keep Fitzpatrick. He's had his job (pressing) the last couple of seasons and he hase done OK IMO. There have been a couple of times where he's been missed and opposing teams have had way too much time in midfield etc. Glamorous no, frustrating at times, yes, but he puts in a shift and thats the kind of player you need if you are scrapping at the wrong end of the table. Reynolds... definitely potential there but is lacking confidence and it shows when his indecisiveness causes errors. If Gannon can build his confidence and "aggression" back up, I think we'll have the Reynolds of a few seasons ago back. Forbes... as said previously he almost exclusively found a well shirt and retained the ball well. Looks to have a decent future. Although the result the other night was terrible, I was encouraged by us getting the ball down and passing it. given Gannon had only been in charge a matter of days. I think in time we could see some decent stuff if we sort out the lack of penetration and cutting edge.
  3. Haha... on a lighter note... I have just noticed the number 21 who was getting the rip taken out of him (from the guys in the east stand) is their player manager. Anyway.. obviously disappointed but think we'll turn it round 2nd leg.
  4. Sums it up. ... and well done to Boyle et al if they manage to get that kind of figure for him. The good thing about Porter, McCormack, Clarkson etc leaving (aside from the fees) is that if they are any good down there, then the clubs profile (esp in terms of player development) will shoot up. This will lead to increased transfer fees and also better chances of us landing players as they will see it as a good "stepping stone".
  5. Maybe he is using his German contacts
  6. Another interesting article here: Click
  7. Im sure I read somewhere that John Boyle said (maybe a week ago) that there was no chance of Calderwood being entertained for the job (or words to that effect).

    Latest Rumour

Surely he would be shown the facilities etc at some point though. Having said that, there is probably a journo camped outside awaiting such an arrival. Would have prob heard it somewhere by now.
  9. "People talk about Scotland but there’s not many teams you’d leave Bohemians to go manage in Scotland for"
  10. Well you never know. Did Dundee Utd not sign the boy Gomis from Cowdenbeath or summit?
  11. To put things into perspective, celtic have hired a manager who actually got his team relegated from the EPL.
  12. Thank God for that. Was nearly greetin when I read we had approached him. Re McGhee... if Celtic dont get Mowbray, I think we should up our compensation quote a bit for McGhee as they appear to be struggling for suitable candidates... supply and demand and all that.
  13. Does McGhee not have it in his contract that he is allowed to talk to certain clubs if they are interested?
  14. Available (LMA) managers. Click drop-down box for list. http://www.leaguemanagers.com/ have fun
  15. Doubt Davies would leave Nottingham Forest for us.
  16. I take it we mean Colin O'Neil rather than Stuart Pearce
  17. ... For me, this is the stuff of nightmares.
  18. Not Celtic minded mate. The Celtic fans have made it clear that success is not part of the criteria. Lets hope they get their wish and get Peter Grant or summit...
  19. I am a clown... thought it was 3pm k/o so have missed game Whoosh.
  20. Its maybe just the mail?? I have had a few things sent up to me from my folks and my sister recently that have never arrived.
  21. Missed this game It is one match I would have loved to have been at. Watched it in a pub in Killie with my 2 mates (1 Rangers fan, 1 Celtic fan). My Rangers mate kept saying "you's are shite etc" and I just pointed out that they hadn't killed the game off and that it would only take a second for us to change who won the title. When Skippy scored I was jumping around, taunting and laughing at my Celtic supporting mate that much I genuinely thought he was about to burst into tears.
  22. Because they have the greatest fans in the world
  23. Apparently a few Hibs fans ran on the pitch as well when they scored: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...h-invasion.html 'It was hairy stuff, because I knew right then that there were Hibs fans on the pitch at that point, too, and we were stuck in the middle". From the ref's mouth... all good
  24. Surely Hibs will drop points for their fans coming onto the pitch against Hearts?
