    Kilmarnock

Jennings for me. Man has become a first-name on the teamsheet in recent weeks and was terrific today.
  2. I'll have loads up on my Facebook later.............
  3. Only one team deserved anything out of that game, and the three points went to the right team. Kilmarnock are awful, buch of cluggers who escaped with a single yellow when a handful wouldn't have been wrong. Played some good stuff today, that chance for Murphy had it gone in after the superb play from Jennings would have been goal of the season. A draw or a win for us next week for me would rule Saint Johnstone out. Aberdeen can only get to 50 at the split now and they aint gonna get anywhere near it. Winning next Saturday I fell would secure a top six place for us.
  4. We must win today after that result up North.
  5. They know feck all them, Jordan was clearly the most skillful and original!
  6. Well, Jamie Murphy made the showboat....good start!
  7. In Sutton's 26 appearances this season, we've lost just 6 times. 9 Wins, 11 draws, 6 defeats, 2 of which were in cup competitions. And we've failed to score in just five of those. Of the nine games Sutton didn't play in, we won 2 and lost 6 scoring in 5 of those.
  8. Off the top of my head i'm sure we've only fouled more than the opposition twice this season.
  9. Terrific goal to be honest, good cross, superbly held up, and a fantastic finish!
  10. Ruddy's getting huge amounts of credit for the clean sheets, but credit where it's due to the defence and the rest of the team. Win as a team, lose as a team.
  11. Last night's low was -7, pitch will be fine.

    John Ruddy

From the BBC..... John Ruddy admits he would seriously consider any offer that comes his way from Motherwell when his loan spell finishes at the end of the season. The Everton goalkeeper has been outstanding since joining in the summer, and Fir Park boss Craig Brown wants to keep him in the long term. Brown said: "We'll ask Davie Moyes if we can extend the loan or if he could be bought at a reasonable price. "He's a very good goalkeeper - outwith the budget of Motherwell, I'd guess." And the manager of the Steelmen added: "But we want John Ruddy, the fans want John Ruddy and funnily enough I suspect he would be very happy to stay." The player himself admits, should the situation arise, it will not only be football that will make up his mind whether to continue at the Lanarkshire club - the Ruddy family is based in Cambridge. "I'd consider it, without a doubt," Ruddy confirmed. "I've always said my first option is to go back down to England, for my family's sake as well. "Being three hours away from my family when in Liverpool is quite tough. Being here in Scotland I'm six hours away, which is even tougher. "If Motherwell made me an offer, I'd give it serious thought because I've enjoyed my time so much up here." Ruddy is aware, although he has not been told, should he return to Everton in the summer his chances of making in-roads to the first team seem limited. The English Premier League club have already signed Polish goalkeeper Jan Mucha on a pre-contract and he will join from Legia Warsaw in the summer. "I don't know what's going to happen with Everton. They've signed a new keeper who comes in the summer," said the 23-year-old goalie. "So they are going to have two keepers who are going to be at the World Cup. "So where that puts me and the rest of the keepers at Everton - I haven't a clue. "It was disappointing for myself to see they'd signed someone because I thought I was doing well." Ruddy has revelled in Scottish football since former manager Jim Gannon brought him to Motherwell. He has kept 12 clean sheets and under the reign of Brown has lost only one goal in the past 11 hours and 19 minutes of league football. "The key has been a consistent team selection," he claimed. "We've had the same back four in place in every game and we've kept six clean sheets in seven games - that's more than coincidence. "The lads have just got back to enjoying playing. They enjoy playing for Craig and Archie Knox and I think that shows on the pitch now. "Jim had his ways, but I'm not going to bad-mouth him because without him I wouldn't be here. I owe him for that." Ruddy began his career at Cambridge United before moving to Everton in 2005. However, the Goodison Park club have sent him out on loan to eight clubs in a three-year spell. "This is my first full season since I was at Cambridge five years ago, which is quite frightening!" Ruddy joked. "I've always said I'm never happy just sitting there picking up a wage. I always want to go and earn it. "The numerous loan spells were purely because I wanted to go and play and those were the opportunities that arose at the time. "In hindsight, a couple of them I shouldn't have done, but you learn from that. "Motherwell, though, has paid off."
  13. They've lost 8 in two games. Aye, one at Ibrox, but Saint Mirren went their tonight and only lost to a late, late goal. Hibs haven't been trashing teams either. Since the turn of the year, they've put 5 past Hamilton (one of those exceptional results) and 5 past Montrose (the worst team in senior football), but could only muster 3 against junior opposition and their other victories were by one goal. 5-2-4 is their form since the turn of the year, we are 4-3-1. I'd say we were in form, they are not, clearly.
  14. Like Saint Johnstone's defence was tonight? Give the guys credit, since late December in the league only the SPL all-time goalscorer has managed to breach our defence.
  15. Get tore into them. Saint Johnstone obviously did tonight, Saint Johnstone had 14 shots on goal compared to Hibs 3! 11 corners to 2, they took the game to Hibs and it worked.
  16. Hibs are currently now on a bad run, the sort everyone gets during a season. We had ours losing five on the bounce, it was easy to fall into and so hard to get back out of. You don't lose five goals by accident.
  17. Trophy to be presented at half-time on Saturday I believe. Pics here.... Piccies (Facebook)
  18. Here's a few of my own....
  19. Hibs, despite losing 0-3 today, also survived some howling errors as well, noe more so than the one Bamba did second-half!
  20. Hibs seem to run out of steam mid-way through the second half, they put so much into it early on and if we keep them at bay then this game is definetly winnable. Rely heavily on wide men, and I think we have more steel in midfield than they do - crunch each tackle. We owe Hibs one, aint beaten them at Fir Park for a wee while now. 2-1 Motherwell.
  21. Thus far, 25 games and just 6 defeats - and five of them were in-a-row just prior to Gannon's departure. Always a positive really!
  22. FT 0-0. A good point considering how poorly we apparently played today, and it could easily have been a defeat. Bizarre thing is, one win and a defeat out of Wednesday and today would have seen us gain more points than remaining unbeaten!
