  2. Stevie O'Reilly is the Ref on Sunday......................
  3. We maybe couldn't afford to pay it, but we still did everything above board and crucially paid all our taxes. That's the big difference.

    The Run In...

First half Sunday yeh, we were sluggish, but 2nd half we dominated and looked much more like ourselves. Think the slumber has been awoken from.
  5. They'll get a salute from me. Only need one finger right enough............
  6. If opposing players stopped trying to wrestle Higdon to the ground he might actually be able to jump for the ball now and again. He's easily more fouled than fouling players.
  7. Better hope we don't get Ross County at Fir Park midweek. One of their fans posted about taking just 80 fans to an away game at Ayr this season. Still, that beats the worst I've seen at Fir Park for an top-flight game. Saint Johnstone once brought just 64 fans for a midweek game, 93-94 it was, a relatively short 60 mile drive and I do recall that there were just 2 match programmes sold to away fans - and they were in the South Stand. I know we wouldn't take a large support up there midweek but I'd like to think we could at least double the 80 figure.

    Hibernian

Easy for me, Hutchy was an absolute rock today.
  9. Mentioned O'Connor's escape on Twitter. Can't believe that wasn't a straight red if you think of the sort-of things carded in the past. Most notable sending off I've ever witnessed in that regard was the one Stevie McMillan got at Pittodrie for swiping a kick at fresh air some few feet from the opposition player.
  10. New SFA website is an absolute nightmare, can't find the suspensions anywhere as it tells you there....... Found it! These are the most recent.... 30/03/12 ADAM ASHGHAR (MOTHERWELL F.C.) 1 SPL Under 19 match immediate 31/03/12 KEITH LASLEY (MOTHERWELL F.C.) 1 SPL First Team match from 14/04/2012 01/04/12 LIAM CRAIG (ST. JOHNSTONE F.C.) 1 SPL First Team match from 15/04/2012 01/04/12 ANTHONY WATT (CELTIC F.C.) 1 SFA Youth Cup match 01/04/12 JASON NAISMITH (ST. MIRREN F.C.) 1 SFA Youth Cup matc
  11. Looks like the team bus didn't fare well at all today. Pic taken by our own Henrik.....
  12. Hibs are fighting to stay up. Was always going to be that kind of game today, happy with a point. We'll be fine.
  13. I don't think we've lost any spark really. Players go on and off the boil, we're still scoring goals from other areas so I personally don't think it's a real issue.
  14. Champions? Whose that? Now became somewhat immune to ESPN's OTT coverage of it!
  15. We've hit 22 in our last 8 home games. And with 42 from 32 games, only Dundee United and the gruesome two at the top have scored more.
  16. Think Pagey will get a new contract. Done enough in my eyes whenever he's played.
  17. Think Ojamma has gone off the boil a bit, but it's a bit unfair to slam him as a non-tryer because he's having a bit of a mare at the moment.
  18. Free kick yes, booking nah, considering what O'Reilly let go earlier. O'Connor should've walked. Griffiths should've been given a red card when he walked on the park just because he's an arse. Still, happy with a point considering how poorly we played for the bulk of the game. Cracking goal from Nicky Law.
  19. Might that have been either Accies or Herts.........

    Rival Watch

Three points tomorrow and I reckon long as we don't lose to either Saint Johnstone or Dundee United then we are there.
  21. I did that! Married on the Friday afternoon, at Dens Park the next day. Still married nearly 14 years later!
  22. From Sporting Life. Great just to see his name mentioned again.... Motherwell (from): Randolph, Hateley, Saunders, Hutchinson, Clancy, Carswell, Humphrey, Law, Lasley, Higdon, Ojamaa, Murphy, Page, McHugh, Forbes, Daley, Cummins, Lawless, Hollis.
  23. Good news!!!!!!!!!!! Dundee United manager Peter Houston and forward Gary Mackay-Steven have been recognised by the Scottish Premier League for their form in March. Houston has been named Manager of the Month, having taken the Terrors to four league wins out of four. United defeated Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Rangers, Hibernian and Dunfermline Athletic, scoring ten goals and conceding just once. Mackay-Steven, who has been picked as Young Player of the Month, was a key figure in their success, which has seen the club move into fourth in the SPL table. The 22-year-old featured in all four matches, finding the net in the 2-0 win over Hibernian. It is the second successive month he has won the award, having also been recognised in February. Houston is recognised for the first time this season, having last won the manager's award in March 2011.
  24. I think we should do what we did at the Masters, turn our backs on them as they come out. Guard of Honour? They can bite my banger.
  25. Really glad you don't give the team talks. Think this current crop of players was almost exactly that which downed Celtic last season, bar one or two changes here and there. At the weekend only an inspired keeper and one slip at the end cost us.
