  1. I remember we said we'd never win at Tannadice in the league ever again....then two stunning oggies and we got our first win in nearly 20 years. Gotta change sometime, gotta go our way sometime.
  2. Tom Hateley‏ @TomHateley6Following To hear that my family were arguing with a few fans today isn't on..if you have something to say to me wait after the game and say it... FFS, what is it about some of our support???????
  3. Hibs fan posted this on the BBC....Graeme in Musselburgh: "Worst Hibs team I've ever seen. Can't defend, no midfield and toothless in attack. Relegation looms and we deserve it." Roll on Easter Road I'd say!
  4. Shite happens, we aint Barcelona and are going to have off days even during important periods. It's how we react next week, massive game and we've got to respond. NO less.
  5. Kilmarnock missing several key men it seems......... KILMARNOCK boss Kenny Shiels has ruled out being able to turn Sunday’s Old Firm game into an SPL title decider by taking points off Motherwell at Rugby Park. The man whose team beat Celtic to win the first trophy of the season at Hampden last weekend admits he’s missing too many players to give the Steelmen a game. Personal tragedy will prevent Liam Kelly from turning out against the Lanarkshire side who are chasing Rangers for second place in the SPL and winning a place in the Champions League qualifiers. And Shiels will also be without his son, Dean, on top of Danny Buijs, Mo Sissoko and David Silva from his Scottish Communities League Cup-winning side. A home win, or even a draw, would deny Well and set Celtic up for a possible championship-winning party at Ibrox on Sunday. But Shiels said: "We'll struggle to give Motherwell a game. The players' appetite is good but sometimes you have to be wary of lethargy after a cup final win. "It’s only human nature to pat yourself on the back for a job well done."
  6. I understand it to be Monday if they are sorted this weekend.
  7. CELTIC have threatened to withdraw all co-operation with Sky over plans to change SPL voting. Record Sport understands the champions-elect may refuse to work with the TV giant ahead of this weekend’s Old Firm match, barring the bare minimum required under SPL rules. The threat is in response to the resolution presented last Friday by the 10 clubs outwith the Old Firm aimed at ripping up the league voting structure. With Rangers plunged in administration, the SPL 10 want change but Celtic disagree. And yesterday they told SPL chief executive Neil Doncaster they will continue their stance until the 10 ditch the proposals. The SPL recently agreed a five-year, £80million extension to their TV contract which will kick in this August and run until the summer of 2017. Ironically, Celtic boss Neil Lennon was a pundit for Sky at last night’s St Mirren v Hearts clash but the threat to withhold access ahead of Sunday’s Old Firm derby is real and sources inside the SPL fear for the future of the new deal. It is understood Celtic have spoken with Sky but the move has outraged the non-Old Firm chairmen. The 10 signed up to a document put before the SPL board asking for a resolution to be discussed at next month’s meeting of all clubs. The SPL clubs believe the 11-1 majority required for any kind of structural change is undemocratic, allowing the Old Firm a stranglehold on the game. A source within the 10 said: “We have 10 clubs trying to make the league more democratic and one trying to dictate their agenda to everyone. “But Celtic know without Sky money, every club in the league is up the creek.” A Celtic spokesperson said: “We are sure all supporters would regard these attempts to create division and uncertainty as very concerning, particularly given the current state of the game in Scotland.
  8. There's just no excuse for it. The camera angle shows the linesman looking straight at it! That's incompetence and if you or I did it at work so blatantly we'd have baws chewed.......

    Fir Park News

When I first started going in August 1981 that's what it was called. Only colour on front and back (and that was ink not pictures) and in the middle, still was quality for it's day!
  10. I remember that game against Aberdeen. We applauded them on the park then they scudded us. Not happening a second time.
  11. There should be no question of this game even being the slightest bit in doubt. Simple as that.
  12. What's the date in Aberdeen? 11th May 1983. And until they remove that massive chip on their collective shoulders, that's the date it'll remain.
  13. Kilmarnock are going to be missing both of their recognised centre-backs by the look of it, with the other one seemingly injured in the cup final. They'll either be full of confidence, or still living today next week and have their eye well and truly off the ball. Be an interesting game, although one I'd be looking for us to push on for second with a win.
  14. Was saying on the way out that I thought it was the most important win of the whole season so far. Considering we had to play three players in very important positions one of whom was an under 19 making his debut, to take all three points is brilliant stuff. Think Ojamma was trebled up on sometimes which more or less nullified him but that's a compliment and he'll have better days.
  15. Had the usual clowns giving him dogs abuse for "not jumping", whilst not recognising it's impossible to do so when some huge defender is clambering all over your back. No appreciation for his linking, or winning headers, just abuse when he can't do a Messi.
  16. This sums up Aberdeen fans for me. You don't deserve anything other than where you are.... "not good enough. i really think that there should be an amicable parting of the ways between ourselves and brown, regardless of whatever happens in the scottish cup. he is not the the man to take us to where we should be, ie top four minimum every season. plus his football style is defensive gash. shows how bad scottish football is when the likes of motherwell and st johnstone are in the top 5 or so."
  17. Think it would have been a travesty if they'd got anything. Although they saw plenty of the ball 2nd half they did little with it, Page and Cummins were absolutely tremendous and looked like they'd played all season long. Terrific all round, brilliant goal from captain Hammy, massive three points.
  18. Selling the programme it's sometimes 20 past before I get in and there's certainly one turnstyle open at that point.
  19. SFAMyerse What a bunch of incompetent idiots.
  20. Las officially now suspended for two games, we knew it anyway but the SFA have posted the most current suspensions and he's on it. Jonathan Page is also apparently now suspended for our first Scottish Cup tie next season.
  21. I'd be very worried with Jenno at centrehalf. He's no much bigger than me and I'm as short an arse as you're likely to see..........
  22. Demoting them for such obvious incompetence would perhaps teach them a lesson and ensure they up their game. Is done down South, why not here?
  23. Think we forgot to count a few.......never mind, less gate to share. Had to laugh at the media description of Pawlett's piss poor effort with Randy way up the park. They described it as "narrowly a foot wide", he made a complete erse of it.
  24. Bigger picture time. Didn't play well until it was almost time up but the last period should be enough to tell them three points next week with that kind of application. We might struggle to put together a defence but I'm not overly concerned, just disappointed given we'd have got Hibs in the semis. Aberdeen wanted it more earlier and built up a lead based on poor officiating and bad defending.
  25. How the mighty have fallen. Aberdeen appear to see today as their final.
