The thing for me is, everything Gannon has said thus far he's done. McGhee, on the other hand, was full of many, many promises too few he actually delivered. He got us a great season yes, but I always felt he didn't deliver on the many promises he made - instead, whored himself all over the place.

I remember John Lambie saying at half-time it had been the best football he'd ever seen from a team in his life. We absolutely hammered them and it was only through extreme luck and superb goalkeeping it was only three, the Billy Davies goal I seem to remember involved something like 18 passes without the opposition touching the ball until it was in the net! Coyne was a master, superb penalty taker who rarely missed, that Falkirk game was exceptional. His finishing was brilliant, always remember that goal against Shellic at Hampden in the 2-2 league draw. Only he could have thought that quickly.

Tommy Coyne's treble at Peterlee Newtown in the 8-0 thrashing was good. Pity only about 8 of us saw it!

Great news! This is a long, long overdue overhaul of the entire squad which has been needed, and I believe we are seeing bettter players arriving all the time.

Given the circumstances, I'd say Gannon did it right. In and out, no need to hang about.

Was at work with no internet access so it was far from easy not knowing what was going on! Sounds like we were unlucky today, they are bound to have had some chances given they have to open up at home but away fom home I'm sure they'll be much more defensive. As for the penalty, it surprised me more the Ref gave it than it was ordered to be retaken given his previous mistakes in other games, though he ballsed it up by ordering a retake - UEFA must get rid of him. No reason why we shouldn't be confident of next week's game.
