I'd be very interested to see what the attendance figures are for this year's tournie compared to the ones we have been at. Every year Motherwell's been there we seriously boosted the crowd and made the atmosphere of the place, can't imagine it's remotely lively this year. Any idea what the results were?

To be honest, Paul Quinn has always struck me as being a nearly player. Solid in the teckle, but his distribution was quite often, for a professional footballer, dreadful. I do believe Mr Gannon will get someone in who can tackle every bit as well as he can pass.

Disappointed to see him go actually, hope he does well but not against us of course!

They will most definetly have to make Airbles Road dual-carriageway all the way up to Ravenscraig if they do that. I know that there's plans to extend it right through but no sign of that happening any time soon.

Really sad to see Clarky leave, but all the very best of luck to him down South - he'll be a hit I'm certain. You'll rarely see a more determined, more loyal player. I'll always remember when we drew 2-2 up at Sheepyville. He scored twice then, after they'd came back to leve after being 2-0 down, Clarky got clean through on the left but with a virtual open goal, he screwed the ball across the box with McDonald just inches away. Talking to Clarky after the game, he simply said "I was fu*ked!!". Great player, superb person.

Would read nothing into today's result, certain Gannon will have them pumped up for the game during the week. The opponents have played twice at least already I'm sure with an uninterrupted pre-season thus far. Gannon is a terrific appointment, delighted with that.

I'd be delighted if Clarky stays, but again, think he's every right to go for a big move if he feels the time is right. He's been a superb and loyal servant to the club, love him to stay.

Depends what you mean! Armenia borders Azarbaijan with the former bordering Easter Turkey, so the Baki mob would be worst in terms of distance. I'd say Banants is probably the better of all the teams, but we should still be capable of taking them. We should get Luc Nijholt in as manager right away if we get Banants, Red Bull beat them 7-0 on agg a year back.
