I counted 5 other Well fans apart from me. Fair play to all who made it there. Clarkson did look off the pace; missed a real sitter that was setup beautifully by Johnson, who looked fast and skilful throughout. Thomas took his goal well but difficult to make any conclusions against this opposition. The locals say Sligo have been awful all season, but did seem to raise their game for our visit. Las, Bara and some of the junior players came over at the end, real nice touch.

Just been sent to Sligo of all places with work. Bizarre coincidence but means I can take in the game. Anyone else going?

When I searched for that link there were no results but a search for bytheminmfc showed all the casts straight away. Downloaded a couple for listening in car later, brilliant ;-)

Quick question - I can see how to download the podcast on the laptop but not when listening via Soundcloud on the iphone - can it be done? Just asking cos I find if you get out the car and pause it, it very often will only play from the beginning again.

I actually though Ferguson came across as relatively reasonable, though none of them gave us sufficient credit for the achievement or mentioned their atrocious behaviour in past fixtures between the clubs.

Don't really follow that one (having to win the league). If there really isn't much to choose between the "rest" then how come we have bested them the last 3 years running? If the same thing happened in the EPL you'd see a club like Fulham (at a guess 2/3rds of the way down the pecking order, like ourselves) finishing runners up in successive seasons. I couldn't see anyone viewing that as anything other than remarkable.

To all those who have disliked him over the last 3 and a half seasons of immense achievement - it must have been awful to have felt like this...
