  1. That has to be one of the best penalties ever
  2. This is possibly for another thread, but while we're here... Up until a couple of years ago, the accepted wisdom was that we were in reasonable financial shape and carrying no debt, ie miles ahead of just about every other club in Scotland. So how come after a couple of admittedly bad financial results we are suddenly looking down a big black hole? If the above para is true then every other debt-ridden club must be even worse off...?
  3. Just checked, we didn't get a single player in this years' PFA team - can you imagine the dummy-spitting if Lennon was our manager.
  4. Been changed back? What did it say?
  5. Great stuff. I don't get to many games, but am I right in thinking the Bois numbers are growing year on year?
  6. Lasley's decision to take the kick himself and send Hutch up was genius. Having said that I can't see why people are saying it was a narrow win - we didn't even have to send the keeper up for it
  7. Steve D I had doubts but you called it right sir
  8. It just gets better at every watch - yet to see the foul on Hutch, will have to wait for highlights
  9. Thought we actually played well in the middle of the park throughout the game. Lots of intelligent short passes when there would have been a temptation to hoof it.
  10. Lasley but with a very honourable mention to big John. Still baffles me how anyone could have doubted him given his performances the last time he was here.
  11. Think we were in the Burns Tavern for that one, sweet memories. Great result despite having McLeish in charge...also didn't realise that was Gough's last game at Ibrox.
  12. Tempting fate but our "bad runs" of form usually don't last too long these days, so hoping this is the game we can turn things around.
  13. We've surely unhitched that chimp by now.
  14. That control from Henri for his goal has to be one of the first touches of the season
  15. Of course he meant that in a nice way
  16. I'd say the co comm is Gordon mcqueen
  17. Ok but I think you miss my point. We always get lumped in with the "who'd watch St Mirren/Kilmarnock/Motherwell" line, when we've been at opposite ends of the table for years now. Baffling.....
  18. On Saturday they were discussing the possibility of an Anglo/Scottish cup. Tom English said "how many English punters would watch a team like Motherwell on a Tuesday night" Seemingly ignoring all that we've achieved in recent years. I honestly think amazingly after all these years that it's just because people think our team has a slightly silly name.....
  19. I see it's Stuart & Tam at 5.30 today, so we *may* get a wee mention...
  20. Watching Alba now - have to say the park looks terrible, ball's hardly bouncing in places.
