  1. Cops spied my MFC hat as I entered the station the back of 6pm, and searched me before I got onto my train out into Teuchter Sticks Was actually scunnered by antics of stewards and cops at the ground. Fekk me, are you no allowed to enjoy yourself at fitba anymore. These bassas have it easy in 2010, yet they continue to pick on folk for trying to generate a bit of atmosphere while folks up the other end read their bibles. I approached the Cops when they had detained Marcos, saying surely it's not an offence to take yer top off at a football match and do a bit of singing. They informed me it was much more serious than that, which I believed at the time .............. lieing bastards
  2. So you'll be one of the "theologists" then
  3. Politicians and theologists have pontificated about this subject for years ......... but in my opinion they all got it wrong. Unless you were there or involved it's impossible to define. I won't condone it, but this rites of passage was a very common and often unavoidable one for 1970's/80's football fans. IMHO SiSD is a damn good read, and unlike most of the paperbacks of the same topic/era, is bluddy accurate. Well done Calum. Moonstomp
  4. Exactly why my trips south are infrequent
  5. Have some vids from today's game but cannot get u-tube to upload. anyone want to post vids for me ?
  6. and I was at Pittodrie that night, just a fortnight after losing 6-0 at Morton, (wasn't a good time for us). As far as I'm concerned the record has gone, and I actually will'd the Tims to get a 9th when I heard it was 8-0
  7. Was very impressed today, especuially given we started without Lasley and Murphy. Could have gone behind, but when we scored Caley were never in it. We dominated from there on in and it could very easily have been 3 or 4 up in the 2nd half. They got a goal back and it was sticky trouser time but credit to our defence for shutting up shop. A good day .......... excellent company: Ace, Well-Imp, Andrew, Philip and McGill and my 1st 'Well victory for 4 years Ney luck for the lads going back on the 'dry' trains

  9. Oh the joys of being invaded by 20,000 friendly folk in red/white/blue Best Motherwell team I've seen never to have won anything. Think I even had long hair
  10. wrap up warm, snow is forecast up this way for the weekend.
  11. My father used to speak very highly of that game. Floodlight Friendlies era ? Believe they were Brazilian Champions and scored very early doors, the large crowd drew it's breath expecting a humping ....... enter the Ancell Babes who destroyed the buggarz.
  12. They'll get the Mount Florida End, while we'll get the Jock Stein Stand.
  13. Hope Hampden staff are gonna wash the seats for us on Sunday morning.
  14. Ach, no need. Just remember I aint seen a 'Well win for almost 4 years and that was a 1-0 win in Inverness.
  15. You and Ace can arm wrestle for the other one
  16. Speak English mate For Fuck Sake
  17. Free ............................ won tickets in a raffle, had a bit of a job convincing them that Motherwell end tickets would be a better option for them
  18. Try to find a soft landing this time
  19. It's at a very busy junction (roundabout) off the A9 thou Mr B, so don't cut it neat.
  20. Forbes is shyte. Yes, scored a couple of screamers last season but he has the agility and athleticism of someone with co-ordination difficulties. He cannot run properly, he has no speed and he has no stamina. SPL footballer ? NEVER
  21. Stadium is well outside city centre. No eateriers close by, so you have to head into town where there's plenty. There's Brewers fare type thingy along the way, on the dual carriageway next to the BP garage, else head into Academy St, Union St, Church St where's there's plenty gastro-pubs. There is the Innes Bar in Innes St down at the harbour. Very much a Caley boozer, but very friendly and healthy "school dinners" served.
  22. Playing Accies has, for me, never had the edge of a Derby game. For them it may be different as we are the big boys of Lanarkshire, but they are and have always been, mickey-mouse IMHO. What they bring to FP today ? 300 at a push ! They are a 2nd Div outfit having a wee run in the SPL.
