  1. Just been quoted on Sportscene Results but Kenny Clark says sour grapes Ricky
  2. Great opportunity to consolidate 3rd place gone, I doubt many teams will lose at home to Accies. Perhaps underlines the frailties of having limited resources to select from. However, we are better than this and should be very disappointed dropping 3 points at home to this shyte. Hoping for a vast improvement next week, or should I not bother going
  3. Is it not rather early to be doing that ?
  4. so we'd take a point then ?
  5. Not listening .............. how we doing ? Are we sounding like taking anything from this with 10ish mins left ?
  6. Delivering the pies again ?
  7. Pretty much how most of us will see it
  8. Sorry mate, but better that than Pwick Young, surely
  9. Without wishing your life away or being any older/younger, what 5 Motherwell games you didn't attend, (for any reason), would you like to have been at. For me:- 1. League clincher in 1932, 2. 1952 SFA Cup Final, 3. CIS Cup Semi -v- Hearts at Easter Road in 2005, 4. Record 8-0 humping of the Tims, and 5. Motherwell 6 Hibs 6 last May.
  10. They aint recovered from the loss of MacArthur & McCarthy, but will be no pushovers. Against this quality of opposition though, we should be clutching 3pts come 5pm tonight
  11. 3rd top on the back of 3 consecutive European adventures, imho we should be attracting more than 4600 to Fir Park for a league game against Are Shyte.
  12. Look what Ross County did to the Filth at Hampden in May It's a cup-tie and we have nothing to lose, anything is possible. Lets get in about the Durty Fekkers and give them a right good humping.
  13. and the Dryburgh Cup with the "offside" line
  14. Scottish football needs a whole lot more than a SPL restructuring to save it
  15. My nephew was saying that, not sure what was being said to him tho.
  16. When the fence came down and the seats went into the Shed it was the beginning of the end of atmosphere at Fir Park. I went from standing with fellow 'lads' on the half-way line to sitting next to my old school teacher, a BB officer and a horde of middle aged men not interested in generating any sort of atmosphere .... and why should they ? When FP was 3 sides terracing everyone had their oplace to go and stand. If you wanted to give it large you went up to the fence, if you wanted a quiter life you stood further away and if you were for some strange reason taking yer new burd, (or offspring), you stood behind the goals .......... everyone had their area and was happy. When the seats went in, Chapman and Dickie and MFC didn't think it thru. I had one season in the East Stand, hated it so much, so then moved to the Knowetop Ave terrace, then when that shut I went into the Main Stand enclosure (Our Last Stand), as we called it. Finally, with no option to stand it was the Cooper for us ..... sitting with a tilted neck in that dreich dank cavern. If and when MFC do move, I really hope Mr Boyle stands by his words, (following his visit to Norway), and creates a segmented arena, one where like minded people have their own area to occupy without the threat of annoying/disturbing others close by. As for songs, they used to be pen'd in someone's bedroom, several copies hand-written and passed amongst those on the bus to away games, rehearsed on the way and sung in situ. They were basic, they were easy to remember and repeat and by the end of an away game we had a new anthem to take back to FP and spread amongst our fellow Shed regulars. The mechanism may have changed over the years but if yer not prepared to get up off yer arse and make the effort to lend yer support then keep it shut and stop criticising others that do.
  17. Great result, absolutely delighted in Skaville
  18. Another important fixture for us if we wish to maintain our Top-6 and European aspirations. Utd will be there or thereabouts come next may, so a home win today is crucial for us. Never one I'd put on a coupon, as they are often so difficult to call. C'mon the 'Well
  19. Bored of Europe ? I waited 30years for my 1st european adventure with MFC, and 49 years for my 1st away euro goal, and tears were shed at both events .................. am I now bored of it ? NEVER
  20. and I see yer still using that template I gave you 20yrs ago (back page). Another good read thou, respects to all contributors. Cheers, Special aka Pie aka Height of Nonsence
