  1. The signing of DC was the catalyst in me switching my allegiance back to MFC from DHSFPRFC. MFC's best signing IMHO
  2. Don't believe they were ......... the Beeb preferring to utilise their resources at the cup-ties
  3. I think he'll be lucky to be there next season. Besides I'd rather Midden went down.
  4. Strange how we lost a few then won a few and basically stayed put.
  5. From memory I think we were Matt, after 2 games with 4pts, then I went to the game at Todders and we were shyte and slipped down thereafter.
  6. Right next to a dodgy housing scheme. Best bet is to park up Clepington Road. Come off the Kingsway and right along to the Bank of Scotland Fairmuir Branch, and birl round the wee mini-round-about at Whites Bar and go back on yourself, then park on the left so you're heading the right way after the game. Whites Bar is a Blues boozer and ok for a beer or two. Then come out, turn right down the hill (Provost Road), towards Dens Park then turn left into Sandeman St then fork right into Tannadice Street and if you get lost from there you should be an Accies fan
  7. I had to sit and watch it in an Inverness hotel bar .... next to 2 Tims.
  8. 145,000(ish) Think we got around 14,000 tickets, which the Buns complained bitterly about.
  9. Hampden or Bust. The long trekk south begins
  10. Exactly. I think my nephew would like to take me, albeit he doesn't know yet
  11. Aye, boys didn't turn up unfortunately. Still, I managed to relax and have a few pints before this one ----- unlike '91.
  12. Just been wasting time on u-tube and this brought a smile to my face and some fond memories of a fabulous trip.
  13. Never liked the Ginger Tosser either, took us from 2nd top to 2nd bottom and bought utter shyte .............. wish him failure where ever he goes, media darling wanker.
  14. Was discussing the very same with Glenmorangie. Less than 4500 for the visit of Hearts is very poor, and given our recent run it makes it even more depressing. The same fixture attracted almost 9000 twice in season 1998-99.

Aye, but it's downhill after the game. Plenty of watering holes if you follow the Dens Road route back into the city centre. Used to do what you are planning but it's a long while since I've stayed over, so no point in recommending anywhere ......... Coconut Grove is sadly no more apparently.
  16. Season 1981-82 was a good one for us, albeit outwith the top flight. According to 'Well Again we went 22 league games unbeaten.... 5th Sep to 6th Feb.
  17. Just shows how far we've come when I feel despondent at losing a goal Jamboscum at home is never easy so a great 3 points and Plus-2 goal difference Now to gubb the English ............ c'mon Scotland
  18. EASY-EASY-EASY-EASY Donald Ford -Jim Jeffries - Jim Cruickshank - Alan Preston - Walter Kidd - Henry Smith - John Robertson - Gary Mackay - Sir Walter Scott - The Diggers - Edinburgh Castle - Mad Vlad - Rab Prentice - Willie Gibson - Haymarket Station - Arthur's Seat - Holyrood Palace - Alex Salmond - Wayne Foster - Craig Levein - Lord Faulkes and Jamboscum everywhere .............. you're team are taking one hell of a beating
  19. And I've opted for that in the Predictor, but I'd gladly sacrifice 3 points for a hammering of the Pharts. Lets hear Alan Preston now Wee singing Jambo wank
  20. Lets all laugh at Jamtarts, Lets all laugh at Jamtarts
  21. Hope you didn't put a coupon on No team I love to beat more (outside the OF), than the Jamboscum. C'mon Motherwell ................give them a severe humping
