On paper - easy away win. Hope it's the same on the pitch too Right I'm away to listen to it in the bath , and if it goes our way I'll tune into Alba at 10.

It's true, but it's always been the case. There has always been an alternative to football, although not quite so many as we have today. 1st time I paid into FP it was 15p at the boys gate. That 15p would almost have got me into see Grand Prix at the Rex cinema or the bus to Wishaw baths and back, but nothing was like watching the 'Well. Into the 70's I grew addicted, from sitting in the Main Stand with my father to giving it laldy in the Shed. I was fortunate and had the money to feed my addiction. Playing rugby got in the way, and now living 200 miles away it's virtually impossible to justify. No doubt football is too expensive, (£4 to get into Nancy), but I don't think there is an answer out there.

His other half is from Motherwell, so he's taken a shine to us. What's wrong with that ? Would you rather such folks opted for one of the Mauldeez ? Given the local population, the pull of the Mauldeez, the gate prices, the time of year, the recession and with the game live on TV, just under 4,000 wasn't too bad imho. It was similar to that which saw the top of the table encounter in Dumfries and almost 3,000 more than watched Airdrie. However, getting back to the point ........ Living where I do, I'd be happy to pay £8(ish) to watch a Motherwell game live on TV. Now with every fan having that option every week, could it be a possibility that in the not too distant future football will be played in virtually empty arenas with all the audience watching on TV.

Are they related ? Anyone, who would normally have gone to Fir Park, decide to watch on TV instead ? I certainly won't be judgemental, others might, but it was mentioned on OTB that with TV continuing to call the shots are we heading towards crowdless games with bigger viewing audiences ?

Long overdue, but I'm not confident. Lot of ball but little threat up front. Very poor 1st half and pitch looks very dodgey.
