PPV for UK fans was a special arrangement during lockdown. It's usually against League and the broadcasters' rules. Now lockdown has gone, so has PPV.

I still think he's potentially a great goal scorer but his Premiership record is no better tham KVV.

I like listening to Hammell because he talks like a coach - which is obvious, of course, given he's spent the last few years coaching. Will be interesting to see if after a couple of seasons of having his words twisted by the media and attacks on social media he will revert to the usual manager-speak.

Shankland was certainly a goal-machine in the lower leagues. He hasn't quite proved it yet in the Premiership and I'm still on the fence on if he's going the be Higdon-esque or Bob Malcolm-esque, but his current team are probably a good fit for him to find his form.

I like Lamie for Saturday because it's his old team and he tends to raise his game (as he proved with his Euro winning goal last time). More importantly, we know how physical Livi are going to be and I think he's more suited for that than Sol. If the boss decides to start with last week's winning team, however, I have no complaints.

GA reaped the benefit of Robbo signing him, extending his contract to summer of 2022, getting his head right and getting him to put the extra effort into getting fit.

Robinson seems to have been the only gaffer in recent times that found a way to get him to knuckle down and produce goals. Outside of that, the Dundee Utd experience seems pretty standard. It's also why I wouldn't be surprised to see him end up in Paisley.

True. From what I've read today (and now from what you're saying) that seems to be the case. Was just throwing out some general reasons why players choose Scotland rather than better paying gigs down south.

Depends on various factors, though. He might want to move for family reasons, he might take a wage cut while he gets coaching experience in a new role, he might have media offers in Scotland he wants to develop. Or, it could be a play from his agent and he has no intention of moving north.

I know it depends on availability, but I'd still prefer a left back coming in.

Watching the clip on Twitter it looked like McKinstry is even more excited to be at Fir Park than we are to have him back.

Like Tony Watt, I think we got the best out of Gallagher (in his first season) and I don't really expect either to be as good in the future.

Clubs and players have short memories when it suits them. Brian Kerr publicly trashed us in the press after he moved to Hibs and he came back as coach and now he's assistant manager.

If he does leave Utd I think he's more likely to end up at St Mirren as Robinson seems to be the manager that was able to get the most from him/

I don't think anyone can stop him from changing clubs more often than I change my socks. It's what he does, and why he isn't as successful as he should have been.
