Aye - He started our least creative 11. No idea what he was thinking. It was McGhee-esque overthinking, trying to out-Accies Accies instead of playing our normal formation and personnel.

I'm still amazed that any 'Well manager in recent times has thought we can play with just one up top. Madness.

The top teams in the Championship are a step up - the bottom half teams, not so much. What is different for him (and most successful strikers that leave us), however, is that he no longer plays for a team that likes to hit 20 or 30 crosses a game. If he got run of half a dozen starts, I think he'd do okay - but so far, it's been very start stop for him; not to mention he was coming back after his injury.

Whether it's at PNE or another English club, I suspect he will still be playing down south next season. Early days yet, though.

I'm assuming he plans to switch it up in the second half, but looks like the entertainment in the first half will be mostly watching people fight over seat numbers.

You should have started a thread about his playing ability, then, instead of one about his coaching ability. Although, he'd struggle to make the top 5 worst keepers I have seen play for us. He's obviously a well respected and successful coach. You should be happy an ex-player has done so well for himself instead of giving us more material to laugh at your poor trolling efforts.

If we do scrape a top 6 it seems that Hearts would be the team we'd overhaul. Like you say, though, it would need some big results against good teams.

He got game time in Feb. Early Feb as a sub twice, and starting the last 2 games against Aston Villa and Ipswich. February was not a good month for them, however - they played 5, won 1, drew 3 and lost 1. That would have been a good time for him to score.

I watched the Preston game against Ipswich. Preston were dire and created nothing. If that was the standard they have been playing at since January, it will take more than Moult to fix it. Still, nothing like giving the new players time to settle, eh? Glad our fans would never be so quick to judge.

Moult played the full 90 against Ipswich last week. Unfortunately for him the entire team was mince and combined to create about one chance. I think he started the game before that too.

Not sure if it helped us, but I think overall we are fitter. That showed towards the end of the game. After we weathered the storm in the second half we were still able to take the game to them. Same as the last game at Tynecastle.

As far as the ref goes, let's just be happy he didn't give Hearts the pen at the death. It was never a pen, of course, but we've all seen those given.
