Mika was the only one that looked like knew what he was doing and Bair was OK. Won't have done his confidence any harm to get on the scoresheet again. Was good to see Butcher back for a spell, but none of the defence covered themselves in glory last night. Bevis was the most active and was at least competing (and mostly winning) the high balls. The midfield struggled to find a pass and Miller was anonymous until he was subbed. If we needed any more evidence we can't play one up top, then it was on full display again. Even when Wilkinson did get a hold of the ball there was a 30 yard gap to the nearest supporting player. Thought Kelly was subpar too and didn't seem to be doing much organising of the players in front of him. A minimum requirement for a keeper who is captain.

Not being able to string 3 passes together has nothing to do with our strikers. And neither has our pathetic defending.

I'd like to say I was surprised that some fans are looking for SK to be sacked after we finally hit our bad spell. But I'm not, because fans are idiots. Every - and I mean every - team hits bad spells. This is our first one under SK. Of course he needs to fix it, but looking for blood at this stage is ridiculous. Nothing to do with being happy clappy. Everything to do with having watched teams in multiple leagues across multiple decades.

That seems the most likely combo, but once (if) everyone is fit no doubt SK will test out a few pairings. I imagine Obika will be in the mix too.

I don't think it's anything to do with pandering to the media. More to do with the escalating fines and potential UEFA consequences that could cost them even more money.

I appreciate the need for a fully fit squad, but I'm OK with people getting paid for longer term workplace injuries, even when their workplace is a football pitch.

10 goals in 3 seasons - and while he had a fantastic workrate and physical presence, I didn't think he was Premiership level. But did a lot of the graft that freed up Moult.

I liked Moult (of course) but I'd choose Mika over Louis this season from what I've seen so far, for pure 'get me out my seat' value. Having said that, Moult did well with us because he had a Bair-like partner in Ryan Bowman.

SK has never said or done anything to suggest that with multiple fully fit strikers available he'd choose to go with Bair up top on own.

I can't remember the last time I saw a passback foul given in a game. The refs always seem to give the benefit of the doubt. As for VAR, I didn't want it in and I'll be happy to see it go. I don't think it's reduced the number of wrong decisions, it feels like we're just seeing a different set of wrong decisions.

What happens if/when we beat Aberdeen and then win our game in hand? Or doyou not have that module on your misery calculator?

I'm a fan of Spencer, but as I've said on here before, do not like playing right footers on the left (or vice versa). It's easier to defend against when you know that 100% of the time he's going cut inside to use his right foot. Would really like to see what he could do on the right side of the pitch.

From his press conference this week, I get the feeling SK is going to change things up today.

Seems like he's been on the end of some nasty abuse, a lot of it from his own fans who have been targeting him and his girlfriend.

Just been reading about Lee Erwin in the Record. Fair play to the guy when his career went off track. He moved to the top league in Finland where he got a regular start as a number 9 and won the golden boot with 20 goals in 28 games. Now he's playing in Lebanon and has hit the net 16 times in 23 games.

I know people are dying in the storms, but thoughts and prayers to anyone having to attend an extra Wednesday night game.
