I agree with you for the most part. However, there's been no lack of effort from him all season and his patchy form is probably more due to him not getting many minutes, formations leaving him isolated and teammates not being on the same wavelength. I'd be open to the idea of him staying with us if he fits into our budget.

He's still our player for another two years though and we actually paid a fee for him, so I hope that he proves his worth next season.

Casey was solid at the back today and had a decent chance to score a late winner.

I don't think it was that bad. It was an improvement on the past few games, plenty fight and spirit in the team. Defensively looked much better too, with Balcombe, O'Donnell and Casey all having good games.

Armstrong's been a cheating wee fanny ever since he moved to Killie. I remember Furlong sorting him out once when he was at it a couple of seasons ago.

Just one question I'd ask: are we married to three at the back? Is it possible that we could switch to a more traditional four at the back, allowing more numbers in midfield?

Looked like Gueye lost his rag when he lost the ball initially, so arguably retaliation. Wasn't a dangerous tackle as contact was minimal but I did expect VAR to recommend a red card for it.
