Was there not also a cancelled PCA spat between Ross County and St Johnstone?
Just googled it. Are you referring to the Richard Brittain dispute from eleven years ago?

EDIT: Sorry, must remember to turn the page before answering!

I'd be very surprised if it were a gentlemans agreement.
Surely given the fact that other clubs were after him he would want some kind of security. If there was a PCA can Motherwell cancel it? Everything on the Internet re Halliday makes clear that his deal was going to become permanent in the summer.
Rikki Lamie's was cancelled when Dundee were last relegated but that may have been a specific relegation clause.

to be fair how can the manager legislate for some of our comedy gold that passes for defending. He cant so he needs to move on the regular culprits. Im relieved that will probably be Mugabis last ever game for us. As big a bomb scare now as he was when he first signed for us. My worry is , if rumours are true, we've recruited Obileye who on the basis of what Ive seen is worse.
Is the Obileye thing a genuine rumour or merely a case of Chinese Whispers?

That was fucking Bevis again........exactly the same mistake he made for the first goal. Watching the ball instead of scudding it into the car park.
I thought it was deep enough that Kelly should have come out for it.

Looks like a 4-4-2 to me.

For those of you that are able to remember, how does Willie Kilmarnock fare when discussing club legends? I only ask as he was our first captain to lift the Scottish Cup and the archive footage suggests that he played a prominent role in keeping Dundee out that day.

Even at 48 I'd have been very interested in this but being outside the U.K. I need a wee bit more warning. Hopefully they'll do it again next year.

Is Callan Elliot definitely away? Don't remember seeing it on the website.

They use it in the highlights packages after every game.

Aye another Saturday night ruined for you, all that negativety and pent up rage with nowhere to vent it.
He can at least try blaming SO'D for their goal. Terrible first touch or something.

This was a weird one as it was actually a proper solid team performance with no-one (in my opinion) really standing out.

Never knew they were doing that but perhaps to stop the “fights” when players tussle over the ball after a goal to get it back to centre spot??
That would make sense as it really is pathetic the way some players do that. Standard practice in rugby but for a different reason and keeps the game moving.

What a great idea, just discovered that Motherwell beat Hearts 2-1 at Tyncastle on the day that I was born. Helps being a Saturday child.

I also think making him captain has contributed to his dip in form. You see it happen to some players when the additional responsibilities on game days in training takes away some of their focus.
Yeah, agreed and I'm thinking of Carl McHugh.

He wont give us much in case he gets injured for his new team. Why do you think hes been playing well for just the last few months ,like a lot of players up their game in last months of their last season . Once he's got his move signed up he's on holiday mode . Pre contracts are a shite idea , but they probably have always been there in the back ground in some form or another for years just no offically signed
That's harsh mate, I accept that Spittal hasn't been as influencial in the last two or three games but to suggest that it's because of his move isn't acceptable. He's still working as hard as ever and who was it that got his head in the way of a certain goal at the back post?

Sorry but if we’re being honest I’d say the Collum fucked up by not sending Spittal off.
Wasn’t just a wee push and then gets involved with others merited a red card I thought - I’m surprised Ross didn’t get involved.
I had a good view of the incident and if it was the other way round I’d have been raging at a yellow.I agree, I thought that Collum was having a good game up until that point. To be fair to him, he's not that bad but there is often a turning point in games when he completely loses the plot thereafter. The stramash could have been it on this occasion, especially as he bizarrely played on with two balls on the pitch straight after and I was thinking.... Oh no, here we go, he's snapped again.... But he kept his shit together.

The list seems wrong without Idah, Goldson and Ash Taylor.
You mean the Ash Taylor that left last season? Same goes for whoever mentioned Iacovitti.

Not too much to argue about there.
Devine probably better foing forward than SOD, but SOD has been pretty steady at the back this season. Probably his best since he joined us.
I like Mugabi in the centre of the 3 just to clear the ball at set pieces, but maybe not so much an issue v Hibs.
The rest picks itself.
Devine is injured.

Better to stay, get games under your belt and move on as an Alan Campbell, David Turnbull or (whisper it) Chris Cadden, than a Jake Hastie or Bailey Rice........
Although preferably leaving for a transfer fee as well.

Looks as though he was able to introduce safe standing a Shrewsbury. That could be of interest.

They haven't been looking for a CEO at all since well before Christmas.
So your original claim that the club have refused to look for a new full-time CEO is incorrect then.

Thought if it was handball by someone other than the scorer it didn't matter?
That was the justification for one of the goals that Ross County scored against us anyway

I'm satisfied that we worked our way out of our rut rather than sacking SK and keeping fingers crossed that that would fix it. I'm also satisfied by the performances of a handful of individuals and by the effort of the team as a unit throughout the season.
There's a lot of room for improvement though and a lot of players leaving so I hope that SK can learn from his mistakes and put together a more solid squad for next season.
