He wont give us much in case he gets injured for his new team. Why do you think hes been playing well for just the last few months ,like a lot of players up their game in last months of their last season . Once he's got his move signed up he's on holiday mode . Pre contracts are a shite idea , but they probably have always been there in the back ground in some form or another for years just no offically signed

That's harsh mate, I accept that Spittal hasn't been as influencial in the last two or three games but to suggest that it's because of his move isn't acceptable. He's still working as hard as ever and who was it that got his head in the way of a certain goal at the back post?

Sorry but if we’re being honest I’d say the Collum fucked up by not sending Spittal off.
Wasn’t just a wee push and then gets involved with others merited a red card I thought - I’m surprised Ross didn’t get involved.
I had a good view of the incident and if it was the other way round I’d have been raging at a yellow.

I agree, I thought that Collum was having a good game up until that point. To be fair to him, he's not that bad but there is often a turning point in games when he completely loses the plot thereafter. The stramash could have been it on this occasion, especially as he bizarrely played on with two balls on the pitch straight after and I was thinking.... Oh no, here we go, he's snapped again.... But he kept his shit together.

Not too much to argue about there.

Devine probably better foing forward than SOD, but SOD has been pretty steady at the back this season. Probably his best since he joined us.

I like Mugabi in the centre of the 3 just to clear the ball at set pieces, but maybe not so much an issue v Hibs.

    The rest picks itself.

    Devine is injured.

Better to stay, get games under your belt and move on as an Alan Campbell, David Turnbull or (whisper it) Chris Cadden, than a Jake Hastie or Bailey Rice........

Although preferably leaving for a transfer fee as well.

They haven't been looking for a CEO at all since well before Christmas.

So your original claim that the club have refused to look for a new full-time CEO is incorrect then.

If he stays on after both setting a deadline to leave and refusing to look for a full time CEO it will be utterly absurd.

We really need a Q&A Society meeting to find out exactly what is going on.

What do you mean by "refusing to look for a fulltime CEO"? My understanding is that interviews have taken place and that there is now a shortlist for the role. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

In total tangent.... watching Partick v Raith.  James Brown for Raith went down feigning injury..... Thistle player raging and said to him.  " Get Up .....Get on up........Get up...Get on up"

    Ah'll phone my taxi 😜😜😜

James Brown at RossCo is no stranger to feigning injury too.

It works both ways. If refs want to be treated with more respect, they should stop being fucking useless at their jobs.

If you're crap at your job, do you want a sweaty mob surrounding you and calling you cunt or would you rather discuss it with your line manager?

They were supposedly cracking down on it again this season, but that lasted about 2 games.

It is ridiculous though. Football is really the only game where players can backchat to officials for an entire game with no consequence.

There's tennis as well, Rublev was disqualified and lost his earnings after screaming at an official. Possibly the first high-profile case to be properly punished, yet folk had the nerve to say that it was harsh.

Was a stunning save, and as others said NO ONE realised at time it was a handball, commentators took till 2nd replay, QPR players didn't claim, looked for all the world like he headed it, especially from ref's angle.

I thought the big man was immense last night, strolled the game and pinged some great long passes, can anyone remember what we sold him for?

    Think he went for £1,000,000.

  11. I'd keep Mugabi too, as well as O'Donnell but strictly as a backup and an experienced head in the squad. I don't exactly know what Nicholson does yet but he comes across as a genuinely nice chap, a good talker and technically more than good enough so I'd like him to stay if he wants to.

Really not sure about Slattery, he came through pre-season lean and playing really well but soon slipped back into his sluggish routine of looking for free kicks. He'll possibly be offered a short term deal so that he can rehabilitate.

Enough of the biblical banter folks, and I include myself in that rermark! Back to serious discussion. An unexpected odd but interesting signing. I wonder iof this is where the Obileye PCA rumour originated? As Melvin says, I hope so. In te short term it'll give us more srtiking options. He's 6-1, so no wallflower I assume. If rumours are to be beleived he's a bit of a poacher; a type of player we don't have on the books. A deal until summer next year will give us an chance to fully assess him.  If he's been with us for a few weeks, I assume that we know a little about him.

Sorry, must be missing something. What's the connection between this chap and Obileye at Livi?

He looks an exciting prospect though. Most of the goals in the video seemed to involve horrendous goalkeeping so he should do well in the SPL.
