  1. Not just because of the damage, generally speaking I mean. Just off the top of my head if the club were allowed to charge uglies fans an extra fiver per lice-ridden head then that would be £22,500 more in gate receipts. The McLean Stand holds 4,500 I think? Other away fans can pay the same as the home fans as there are significantly less of them, they have further to travel and they're slightly less odious so we'd want to encourage them to come to Fir Park.
  2. Is there any reason - legally or otherwise - why the club can't charge away supporters more than home supporters? Something the club should consider for those smelly bastards and the teddy bears too.
  3. We really need to win but, more than that, we really can't afford to lose. Playing on carpet is challenging at the best of times but with points so important for both teams that no-one is going to want to risk making a mistake. Could be a cagey, defensive game so 1-1 is a fair prediction. I'm going for 2-1 'Well though.
  4. Yet there are folk complaining that he was subbed. I agree that this wasn't his best game and that Celtic had a lot of crosses in from that side.
  5. Actually, based on his contract extension he has a job until May 2025.
  6. No chance, Mugabi and McGinn were covering.
  7. Looks as though the Great Unwashed are blocking up the stairways on the away end again. Thought that issue had been addressed?
  8. Thorough research carried out by the BBC again. They also stated that Shaw was out but he's in the bench too.
  9. Spittal, Butcher and Halliday all missing today through injury.
  10. Not at the moment. It's simply gauging opinion on whether or not we would be open to the idea of outside investment which would result in The Well Society holding less than 50% of shares in MFC. Do doubt there will be further options once a preferred bidder has been decided upon and more details of the investment can be made official.
  11. SK's mandate was also to cut costs by reducing the size of the first team squad. There are a lot of factors at play here but what SK has achieved with such a small squad is remarkable. There is also no lack of fight within the squad, even when results haven't gone their way they have battled for 90+ minutes for every single point picked up along the way. How many teams sack their manager after relegation? Do you have those statistics to hand?
  12. Similar to the Dundee Utd model of a few years ago too and we can see where they are now.
  13. No idea. It's not a yes or a no for me at this point but I would like more information on the potential offers so I said yes to consideration.
  14. Yes, I would consider a proposal that would see the WS lose its majority or no I wouldn't.
  15. Looks like Dan Phillips will be a free agent at the end of the season. I think he is the kind of player that we need to just sit in front of our defence and offer better protection than what we have now.
  16. Whoa! You almost had me onside there. Best you go and have a sit down now.
  17. Surely that's enough? As long as he does those things and keeps it simple, the other midfielders can try all of the fancy stuff.
  18. Mika scored and Max on the bench again.
  19. I though that was yet another ridiculous comment from the fud in the commentary box. Well yes, his hair is stuck to his head so of course it can be offside as his head is a body part that can be used to score a goal.
  20. When they made the double substitution at 3-0 it was our throw-in. We really have to do better than just handing the ball back to them. Who was marking Gartenmann for the second? Devine was at fault for the third and hopefully he'll learn from that.
  21. Thought he was a midfielder? Square pegs in round holes, etc.
  22. Why should we not have a women's team? We're a community club and it's good for all of the young ladies in the area to have both male and female footballers to look up to. Women's football is growing rapidly in other countries with teams moving to 'men's' stadia and playing before huge crowds. Our club absolutely should be supporting this initiative and hopefully they'll be able to play regularly at Fir Park in the future.
