  1. Yeah, that's my point, maybe Kelly has been dealt with differently and in private. SK comes across as someone who is a good man-manager and, more often than not, he knows how to get the best out of his players.
  2. Everyone reacts differently to criticism - Gent has been superb since that very public kick up the arse.
  3. I read somewhere that he hadn't play a competitive game since June. If true then it will take some time.
  4. Mark Ferrie and Callan Elliot really need to be playing if they want to extend their deals, hopefully we'll see both getting a good run before long. McGinn and Spittal need to be offered improved deals to stay with O'Donnell possibly retained as a versatile backup but no longer a first pick. Nicholson might be worth holding in to if he wants to stay but will need to see how he is when fit. SK can be added to the out of contract list too. I like him and hope that he succeeds but the next couple of months will need to see some improvement.
  5. Just out of interest, does anyone know how much the club earns from a trip to Park head? I'm not sure it's that much but then I've never been and am basing my opinion in the low numbers of our fans that are permitted to attend. Or does the club get a share of the whole attendance?
  6. Not a complete unknown as he has played two cup games already.
  7. Don't think that development fees are a factor with cross-border transfers or has that rule changed?
  8. Buyabu is taking a lot of criticism on here but I thought that he did okay. Fired in a decent cross, tracked back, seems to be comfortable with the ball at his feet and quick too. Hopefully he can link up with Gent in a similar way to Montgomery.
  9. Don't really see your logic. Why not hope for a winnable home draw in the next round then face one of those Glasgow clubs in the semis or the final? Surely those are worth more to us financially.
  10. Kit Watch We will be wearing our home kit for this match.
  11. Bevis' confidence certainly seems to be coming back and he had another really good game. He's now much more willing to drive out of defence with the ball which he's actually pretty good at. By contrast he's been passing the ball on / getting rid and immediately taking backward steps for the past few months.
  12. I actually think, strangely, that despite conceding five goals, their 'keeper looked really good, possibly their best player on the night with Dhanda. The two one-on-ones he did really well with and with Theo's dinked shot he came out and made himself big again, doing enough that the chance was missed. I'd put those chances down as good goalkeeping rather than bad misses by Bair.
  13. Please sign a new three year contract with us?
  14. Was giving it to Bair but after the 4th and 5th goals adding to an already solid performance there was only one winner.
  15. So it's him that fecked our pitch then?
  16. First time I've felt this all season but the referee has been pretty good so far.
  17. Possibly not a popular opinion but I'd keep O'Donnell beyond this season on a rolling contract on the understanding that he'll be backup cover across the defence rather than a first pick to start.
  18. Wasn't that the Scottish lad that was born in Spain, played for Real Madrid and was meant to be the next best thing?
  19. Stick around!

Thank you. I appreciate it. I've just had a shit week. I broke my nose last week and I have two black eyes... And apparently im a Kettlewell apologist. It wears you down sometimes. Thank you again x

I get you, I'm not happy with this run either but sacking Kettlewell isn't the solution. Get well soon.

      I agree and thanks again

  20. Dom Thomas scored the winner for Queen's Park to beat ICT. Stuart McKinstrey played an hour. Darragh O'Connor scored two as Morton thrashed Dunfermline 5-0 away from home.
  21. I think that he is a very tidy player and certainly good to have in the squad but as soon as he gets near the 18 yard box it all falls apart for him. Defensively too as he has cost us a couple of goals by not staying tight to his man.
  22. Get a room you two, should be talking about the game this afternoon.
  23. I remember SK stating that in the week before Mika left he was in conversation with Arsenal and there was no mention of a recall.
  24. Folk were very quick to blame Arsenal for what happened but I did wonder if Mika wanted away.
