Taking into consideration that he's played less than half a season, this is a truly remarkable achievement. Right so the referee surely needed to do the 'no penalty' sweep of his arms as soon as he left the monitor before swiftly booking the player for simulation. Regarding the half time whistle, Casey clipped a shot towards the top far corner of the goal, it was tipped over for a corner and the referee did not allow it to be taken.

I thought it was a clear penalty, Goss was clattered from behind in trying to get to the rebound from a KvV shot. It almost happened behind the referee's back if I remember correctly so can understand if he missed it but thought VAR would have asked him to have a second look.

No-one really stood out today but thought Stephen O'Donnell was solid, reliable, linked up well on on the right and filled in comfortably on the left when needed.

Was impressed with Blaney and Aitchison looked fairly sharp. Apart from that it was an awful game against a team unwilling to play anything that resembles football and officiated by typically inept individuals.
