  1. Cannot remember but I am sure it would the start of second half before they posted the half time scores, it was certainly not instant, mind you it was only 10 minutes for the half time break back then.
  2. After listening to SR post Hibs game analysis, I am confident in getting a result.
  3. My summary of the past week is against Rangers we rode our luck first half but fortunately we had Moult to produce the goods for us second half and turned out a good victory. Dundee game the first 25 minutes was the best football we have produced all season, the remains 65 minutes we sunk into an average performance and were lucky to escape with a victory. Hibs game I am sorry to say we started the game where we left off the Dundee game, ok we improved a bit in the second half, but without doubt the best team won. Where I am puzzled is how suddenly our form has suddenly dipped, I am very confident that SR will turn it around and to be fair after 10 games to have 19 points and a cup final you would have easily taken before the season starts.
  4. I believe the reason that Moult did not start against Dundee as his wife is due to give birth. Does anyone know if that is happened?
  5. I went for McHugh, I am sorry as much as I like him I did not think Bigi had that a a game (caught in possession for my liking) what was obvious was lack of match practice, although Frear/Tanner were also short, but I thought that they both had good games especially Frear.
  6. After a really bright start to the game, we developed into a team from last season with big punts up the Park, which to me is not necessary and worrying as we are capable of playing football. I will put it down to changes in personal before and through the game! Also worrying was the way Peter Hartley was limping after the game
  7. I totally agree, December just before Xmas is NOT the time to play a rearranged game, but not too sure of the rules for rearranged games, I am sure the SPFL have this rule that rearranged games in November/December have to be played before the end of the year, but that is what I remember from years ago. I am sure someone will correct me. Anyway this is the problem that comes with success, so don't be downhearted if it has to be December.
  8. Definitely one of the best press conference from any Motherwell manager in years, how can anyone not like him, no wonder the players love him.
  9. Fortunately there is many favourites and I go back to Bobby Watson's against Spurs in Texaco cup, but out of the most recent would have to be Jutkewicz's goal in 6-6 each game against Hibs, maybe because it was in the last kick of the ball, but a cracker.
  10. It looks like our semi final will have the biggest attendance apparently Hibs have 10,000 unused tickets!!
  11. I see we are getting another £370,000 in the bank tomorrow for Celtic qualifying for the group stages.
  12. Maybe not the best location for this post, but so sorry to hear of Terry Butcher's son Christopher passed away yesterday at the very young age of 35, i know Alan Burrows has posted on twitter his condolences, but it would have been nice for the club to put out a statement on the official site. Christopher RIP
  13. Congratulations on Peter Hartley being the star man in the SPFL team of the week, well deserved
  14. Yes another good victory for the under 20's with a young side (no idea the average age of the side but would think it would be around 18) and now sit one point behind the leaders Dundee but we have a game in hand.
  15. Surely we would need to wait until the transfer window opens up again in January 2018 before anything can be done permantly or are there rules that we can make loan deals permanent outside of the transfer window?
  16. Maybe it was good thing that we struggled for our win against Hamilton today, as I wouldn't have wanting to go in against Rangers thinking that we were superior, hopefully we will realise that we will have to play to our full potential to have any chance on Sunday and even that might not be good enough.
  17. Had to go for Hartley, not only for scoring but for his overall in charge of the defence, if it was up to me I would also make him Captain as I am still not convinced McHugh is the best choice.
  18. I see Pedro playing the mind games already saying that next Sunday is their biggest game of the season!! Although they have been producing good results, I still think they are still vulnerable and we will have an outside chance of getting a result but will be difficult. Any news of the referee, if it is Bobby Madden no point in turning up IMO
  19. EXCELLENT news, I would also like to see a few others get a further extension but I suppose it is trying to get an even balance of keeping players and to promote some of our youngsters. Another priority for me is to keep SR on a decent contract as I think he deserves one based on our start.
  20. Looking forward to the game despite the big disappointment from last nights Scotland result. What is Motherwell's record for playing games after a two week rest due to internationals, what I remember a bit mixed. I take it the next international break in November stilll goes ahead, you would have thought that we could rearrange our midweek game against Dundee to the international break, or does Scotland going to play a friendly...god I hope not!!
  21. McCulloch departs Killie, there is a surprise!!!
  22. Tom Fry voted player of month for September for Airdrie, glad to hear he is doing well, as I thought he had a good chance of making it with us, but obviously powers to be knew better and released him.
