  1. What offers are pending to existing players? Now that we are guaranteed premier status we should be able to bring those to a quick close one way or the other.  Either you want to continue to play for Motherwell or you are moving on. Decide now, so we know what we have to do.

I think we all need to take a deep breath.

It doesnt matter how many games someone does or doesnt go to or how many years they have supported the team.

What matters is our support of Motherwell FC.

If you give an opinion, be prepared to debate it and back it up. Because sure as shit someone will disagree.

Try not to make it personal, or take it personal (hard sometimes I know) we are after all, all on the same side.

Some folk are always negative, some folk are always positive. Thats life.

Yes, big breaths!…. “And I’m only thixteen”

A little flashback for some of the older folks. 😃

    Happy with a 4-1 win

Wasn’t a classic at all , but take a 4-1 win anytime.  Seen some negative comments already on the likes of Facebook about beating Livi etc but I’d rather just enjoy the 3 points and try focusing on the positives

Well, County couldn’t beat them last week! Thought we had some excellent play in flashes

Really harsh on Livi that but I’ll take it.

they should really be looking at the handball stuff, go back to whether there’s intention or not. The unnatural position of an arm is a farce

At first I thought he stuck his hand out but then on seeing replay it hit his upper arm which was pretty well close to his body.

A win and there's nothing virtual about it, we would be safe. Even if St Johnstone and RC also both win we would be 6 and 7 points ahead respectively , effectively 7 and 8 with our vastly better goal difference so they would both need 3 wins from the last 3 games and as they need to play each other that can't happen.

I agree with you in theory but mathematically we would still not be 100% safe although it would take some freaky results

points here virtually assures our safety due to county still to play St Johnstone and our much better goal difference. I imagine Livi will be fired up for this as they try to avoid automatic relegation. I’d like to see us give Bair more support as a team and would really like to see him bag 2 or 3’goals to lift him up the top scorers chart and get us 3 points. COYW!!!

So, Lennon Miller's "goal" was rightly chalked off. That being the case, Ross County's goal ought to have been chalked off earlier in season?

I have to give up and say “I don’t know the handball rule anymore” the only reason we should have got a penalty for Aberdeen handball was to align with earlier decision to chop our goal off. In my opinion neither of them were penalties. Why don’t we go back to good old days of awarding penalty for deliberate hand ball then the decision just has to be did the player make a deliberate effort to handle the ball. Get rid of arm position or making yourself big

I get what folk are saying about the appeal being a waste of money as we were never going to win it.

However, sometimes you just have to make a stand in order to highlight an injustice and support your player.

If we just roll over and let these things pass, then we will continue to be ignored and mistreated

I’d pick more obvious injustices/errors to fight. While the sportscene crew were agreeing with MFC I think there were still a number of opinions that a red was correct, even within the Motherwell support. My viewpoint was that it was never going to be overturned and that it was a reasonable call. Perhaps another ref may have went with yellow but I can understand the red. Anyway done and over now and we just have to get on with it. COYW!!

    Seriously ya nutter!

Bevis in goals is the obvious choice, tall, will command the box, only needs to take by kicks so no dribbling and  legally allowed to handle the ball.

Move Kelly to midfield to show off more of his nifty foot work prowess.
Job done! Who the feck needs coaching badges? Any clown can do this job. ;)

    I stand corrected!

No, a player could be nudged, fall awkwardly and break an ankle.  Is that a free kick for the nudge or a red card for the breakage?  One is the action the other the outcome.

Similarly, if a player dives in and clearly tries to kick or hurt the opponent but the opponent manages to jump clear,  that can still be a red card even although no contact.

So basically vale shouldn't have challenged? Players can't win at times

For me Vale’s challenge falls into a grey area and could have gone either way yellow or red. The ref showed a red and I don’t see that being changed. Some incidents are a stick on red and some are never a red so as mentioned I don’t think Vale’s challenge fits either of those phrases
