Apparently the ball was headed straight out by an Aberdeen player but they were awarded the corner. Obviously we need to defend the resultant set piece much better but the officials have been quite generous to them in each and every fixture this season. I can't wait to get this season in the bin, hopefully VAR follows as well.
Nah, I’m pretty sure it was a corner

Seems like every time they get the ball in our box VAR checks for a penalty even when no one claims.
All of them you can see,in seconds, there is no penalty. Apparently though, they scour replays trying to find something. That part of the big issue with VAR, they scour and dig instead of just looking. Inwas able to tell each time in about 2 seconds what took them ages to figure out.

Get Spittal to f*ck
Having an off day today. Our passing is off in general. Picking some of the right options but then not able to execute the passes.

Don’t have to go that far back…… Chapman!!!

It's all just rumours anyway but I'd rather have a good older player than a so so younger one ...looks like Slattery will be off...I might be in minority but Davor still has a bit to go for me...maybe a full pre season will help
Where did you see that about Slattery?

I’m hoping there’s some work going on behind the scenes to get Gent and Vale back here, one way or another, for next season.

Their keeper is always good for a howler.
Did you steal that line from the Aberdeen site?

30 years old never played in the top league, scores a few goals but not exactly prolific. I don't think he'd be a direct replacement for Spittal but our midfield has been a problem for years now, so hopefully this has finally been recognised. He has plenty of experience so that's a bonus. As always if he is coming on board he will be judged on how he performs.
Your last sentence applies to yourself i assume, since I’ve been on this site a few years now and I almost fell over when I read that. Or does it need a sarcastic emoji there to clarify? 😃

Did Killie sign him or it was a loan deal?

Probably something to do with his 204 career goals vs Theo's 21.
So they’d be buying a future 183 goals. Cough up the cash Bristol !!

The value of any player is generally determined according to who's selling, not who's buying. They'd pay more if he was with an English club, because they'd have to.
This ties into the investor/WS topic. If we didn’t have to sell to survive we could name our price and either get more money or keep him longer and not worry about missing out on a transfer fee.
So in our current situation you are probably correct in as much that we don’t want to risk loosing out on what is a big chunk of money for us. -

Same here but no way could we turn down that money if it was true
That figure seems a much larger amount to us than to Bristol City. They can afford more than that.

Tam Cowan on radio saying he heard Bair could be off to Bristol City for £750k, if true then that is cracking bit of business but obviously would miss the big man, will wait and see if any truth in it
With some add ons or extra for number of goals?

Obviously we are not challenging for Europe but I’m having trouble finding out what spots are up for grabs. Is it 2 champions league, 1 Europa league and 2 conference league? Or alternately, how many Scottish teams will qualify for European competitions?

is lennon millers contract extension until summer 2025, if so he will go this summer.
It’s extended to summer if 2026. That was done in Nov of last year. Tried To paste picture but file too large. You can google to confirm.

Fan ownership can completely work but without increased subscriptions the level at which we operate will fall over the years ahead. Rattling buckets isnt the answer. However if the Well Society doesnt raise significantly more money over the coming years what money we do raise will permit us to do less. If income remains static or shows minimal improvement and costs rise the level at which we operate must eventually suffer, its not rocket science. So its up the the Well Society to let us see their fund projections and business plan and what its expected to raise over the next 5 years and convince us they are up to the challenge as well as answering the question if its so straightforward why have they not made those moves before now..
That’s a good point you raise. As well as knowing what proposed investment option is (yes vote) we also need to know what WS investment option is (no vote) in order to make a fully knowledgeable decision we need to know what both options mean for the future. I also don’t know if accepting the option currently under discussion means we can’t entertain any further investment or would MFC still be able to attract and accept further investment? Or perhaps that part of the current proposal that the investors would seek further investment from their sources. This is not about fan ownership or not it’s about ensuring the continued existence of MFC and that could be fan ownership or maybe not? Perhaps some hybrid?

I hope we find out details soon so that people can comment/discuss on factual information. As someone mentioned earlier the discussion seems to be going around in circles. Additionally, speaking as captain obvious, it would be good to have this sorted out in time to know our resources/budget for building up the squad for next season.

Vale beside Bair please, not behind him.
Not confident about this one as Aberdeen seem to know how to beat us this term, with us holding on for a draw after being 3 up last time out at Pittodrie. They may also have a new manager bounce, if there is such a thing.
The 2-4 defeat we were terrible but the other two games 3-3 and 0-1 we didn’t have much luck with the officiating calls. So I expect it to be close again and perhaps a wee bit of good luck for us to see us getting 3 points.

Hopefully a victory for us against Aberdeen, with St Johnstone and County getting beat on that first round of fixtures would pretty much secure our status. County and St Johnstone would have to win all of their games and draw with each other PLUS overcome a huge goal difference AND us not pick up another point, in order for both teams to finish above us. Of course we will have to wait and see how results pan out so obvious task is just for us to pick up as many points as we can through the last 5 games. COYW

The chat I've heard is he's happy to stay and has a deal essentially agreed but not until he knows we're staying in the Premiership.
That’s understandable.

I had Davie Whiteford for PE teacher at Dalziel and Wilson Humphries for English. He was also BB officer for company 2 and then 2/4, along with George Cummings who played for St Mirren and Thistle before going into refereeing.
