If we have a fit center half he should be playing and Carroll should be left back or sub. I agree with the idea of dropping to 2 strikers but then on the other hand if we decide we are going to press high then maybe 3 up top is better. Since they are more first line of defence than attackers. That’s why we pay GA the big bucks, to figure it all out. COYW. I think we looked even more comfortable with 10 men. We sacrificed attacking and since we were toothless we didn’t loose much. In fact I think we were attacking better since we had more in midfield an were win u g the all more often and in better positions. Comes back again to a midfield 3 versus going to 4 in midfield.

Apparently we had 2 shots on target. I don’t remember those. Hibs had zero on target. 2 bad teams on a bad weather night.

If you’re on a yellow you can’t make a tackle like that. It was a soft yellow but don’t give the ref a call to make.

I missed the start so it sure what happened. Not too much to talk about in that first half other than KVV should have done better with that chance.

Not sure how much is due to conditions but this is painful viewing. Almost enough to make me go do some work instead.

Getting Donnelly back to playing well may take some perseverance like it did with Goss. Goss seems to be performing much better now but it took quite a few games of being invisible before he got there.

I thought he struggled a bit today as well as at RC. Although having said that I’d say our best back four has been Mugabi, Sol, Ojala, McGinley. And having said that, I think I’d rather have Carroll at left back plus I do like O’Donnell at right back. Who’d be a manager???

They are what we have to work with at the moment. I think both are decent for our league and maybe midfield or goal scorer higher priority? I think both are prone to giving us issues i defense but, for me, Carroll will at least give you more in attack. With KVV in the middle and perhaps Shields on there as well I think Carroll would be a good choice and best option to be whipping balls into the danger zone for those 2.

Not McGinley bashing but I’d prefer Carroll in the team. I just think he adds more to the team. GA prefers McGinley and so that’s who plays. Not sure what the split is but obviously some fans prefer Carroll and others McGinley. Carroll will get his chance to claim that starting position once McGinley gets suspended so we shall see how he gets on when that time comes.

Agree but under current ruling I think they class that as making yourself big. I prefer the simple, was it hand to ball or ball to hand? Apparently that’s too complicated.

Well a lot of people may not have realized he was actually playing ! I recall seeing him get a head injury but that’s about as much participation as I remember.

McGuire was the only who at least tried to control the ball and do something with it. Which is probably why he got hooked.

Kelly had nothing to do except pick the ball out of the net 3 times. And that despite the fact we were atrocious. First half was just a dreadful game with both sides absolute pish. Unlucky to go in 1 goal down. Get a good equalizer and things looking not so bad but still playing crappy. They get man sent off. They up their effort, we switch off, totally, so now we are not even playing bad we are just not playing at all. McGinely does what he famous for and we are 2-1 down. Still heehaw response. We look like the team down to 10 men. Then Mugabi tries to block a cross while yelling “Danger! Will Robinson” and we are now totally fkd at 3-1 so let’s just lethargically see who can kick the ball the furthest while trying not to look overly interested in at least trying to pull a goal back. While you can’t always play well there’s never an excuse for lack of intensity and effort. Bring on the next game so we can fix the issues and put this one way behind us.

Although I have to think he was ok with the long balls since it went on the whole game?

Apparently our players were under the impression that we would be awarded the 3 points after their player got sent off. At least I can only assume that based on how they played.
