  1. Back to real fitba this weekend. If we can manage to get our first win here it could be a good day for us, position wise, depending of course, on results going our way. Regardless, picking up 3 points is always good. COYW!!! rangers v hearts hibs v Dundee Utd killie v Celtic
  2. Free agents. Alan Campbell? Liam Cooper?

  4. We can probably live with goalkeeping error now and again but unfortunately that’s 2 games in a row where it’s been a major contributor to loosing points. So the frequency and consequences of the mistakes have put a lot of focus there. Had we not dropped points or had they been a few games apart then perhaps there would not be the same impetus to get Ox back in goals. Personally, I would give Ox a run out but I think JBA will stick with Ward for the Dundee game.
  5. I thought Denmark’s tactics lacked a bit of imagination and didn’t give Beireth the ball on the ground enough and no balls in behind the defence to run onto. They pretty much just put in cross after cross which we dealt with pretty easily.
  6. Sad news. Him and pettigrew are the best partnership I’ve ever seen. Pettigrew of course scored the goals but Bobby had the skill to set up the chances but I think his greatest attribute was not setting up the chances but his ability to control a ball that came to him at any angle speed or height. His touch and ability to bring a ball under control was outstanding. RIP Bobby
  7. I’m still struggling to see how any contact there was enough to put him off.
  8. I thought Nisbet played for them all last season?
  9. 😂 apparently I tend to hit the n key instead of the space button but normally I see it and correct it but since I haven’t finished my coffee yet I’m obviously not very alert.
  10. Perhaps a clause in the loan agreement that we can bring him back anytime if needed or specifically if Longellonis out for a period??
  11. Not that I heard anyone say he had broken down again. Hopefully not.
  12. So hopefully he’s recovered and available right after the international break? That must be about 8 weeks, since the league cup games started in July.
  13. Don’t we subject players to medicals? If so why donee keep getting “crocks”?
  14. Might be a very interesting season ahead. Results so far would say very little between all of the non of the old firm teams, even Morse so than usual, and perhaps not as much of a gap between them and the rest.
  15. I really thought he didn’t get pushed but after watching it over and over there probably was some contact. So I don’t think people are making things up. I’m still not 100% sure but any contact there was is very slight and I’d have expected him to still have held the ball. Or perhaps a better choice would have been to knock it out for a corner. Either way we will continue with what JBA decides. Im surprised though, to see some apprehension regarding the manager. What a breath of fresh air and such a difference in such a short space of time. 100% on board with JBA. I may not agree with everything he does and there is still room for improvement
  16. I liked an earlier post about the Killie supporter’s comment, “we’ve got 4 draws and they’ve got 4 draws. I’d much rather be watching their 4 draws”.
  17. Funny old game, right! I thought AP was very poor yesterday.
  18. I’m ok with his initial error in kicking the ball out. We know and expect that mistakes will be made from time to time like that. It’s the dropping an easy catch that got me.
  19. I’m not a negative person and I am delighted with the way we are playing but it feels like we have lost games these past two weeks rather than remaining undefeated. I think it’s the manner in which we have dropped the points, through basic costly mistakes. I’m not suggesting we send Ward off to the salt Mines but it would not be unjust if JBA did drop him and try Ox. How many chances do you get? It’s unfortunate but goalie mistakes are the most costly and you can’t afford to continue having them. Ward has probably made the least amount of mistakes out of all the players but it’s such a unique position and the consequences much more severe when a mistake is made. Likewise, if Ox plays he should have the same accountability. Probably the fact that it’s cost us points 2 Weeks in a row amplifies the errors. Had they been, say 5 weeks apart, maybe there would be no talk of replacing him with Ox?
  20. Did he play anywhere last season?
  21. Ward is doing basic stuff with the ball at his feet. I’m pretty sure Ox could manage that and main thing is that he gives to one of our players then they can do the footy stuff.
