  1. I was more discussing the way that officials now operate in general as raised in Grumpy’s post. I’m good with the decision in our game.
  2. But I think he does have to make a decision. If he thought it was offside he should have raised his flag once Dundee scored so that the ref would know and be able to award Motherwell the free kick. He never raised his flag and so pre VAR the goal would have stood.
  3. I thought yellow was fine. I’d have to watch again but my initial view was that he was doing block tackle but Dundee players speed/momentum got him there sooner than our player expected. Regarding their “no goal” ball came in from the shy and was headed goalwards. There was a player in offside position behind Thompson who made half hearted attempt to come and get the ball and I think they ruled it out for player in offside position interfering with play. Pretty soft, I’d be raging if was us and got disallowed for that.
  4. Was it 12 mins on the board or what did they hold up ?
  5. How many stoppage minutes went up on the board ? Commentator on the stream had no clue how much time they were adding on so it was agony not knowing how close we were to the end or if we were even playing past the minimum time to be added. Thought it was never going to end
  6. Good to see Ox back in goal, Seddon playing again and Wilson performing well when he came on.
  7. TJ certainly made the difference but I’m going for big Dan who played the whole game. Whether he’s leaving or not I don’t know but he gave it all he had today. Was solid in defence, hit the bar, yes he missed a sitter at the end but to make that run at 90 minutes + to support TJ was terrific. And when he won a tackle late on you could see how determined he was to get us the three points.
  8. Good header but I think the Dundee defender deserves some credit for stepping out of the way to let TJ head it unchallenged. 😂😂 WTF was he doing!!!
  9. Great effort from the team after going down to 10. You couldn’t tell which team was a man down. Could have been 3 after Maswanhise’s great run but Casey just couldn’t redirect it but he bust a gut to get up there in support.
  10. No clue why that was ruled out. I’d be raging if I was Dundee.
  11. And Maswanhise back on the bench
  12. Do Falkirk and Livingston both have plastic pitches?
  13. I’ll be interested to see if we pull in any players from the European mainland through some of Wimmer’s contacts.
  14. Exactly! If we can take care of our part and get 3 points from this game but also see St Johnstone beat Killie, then we can celebrate securing premier status for another year, since the following week sees Killie V Dundee which means that at least one of them will finish below us.
  15. He strikes me as a player suited to high pressing game.
  16. I’ll take all the help we can get every time.
  17. Ideal is that both us and Herts win then we are 10 above county and can relax (as fans, not the team) and look forward to next season and hopefully also enjoy the last 3 games.
  18. If we play Maswanhise Slattery and Watt behind Armstrong maybe we can actually create some chances for him to see if he can score goals. He’s had a thankless task of just chasing down hopeful balls and opposing players so far.
  19. I’d maybe push watt up and play Maswanhise on the left. sparrow has been one of our more consistent performers. I think just seen yellow card post so Maswanhise in for Sparrow
  20. I see it mentions that Killie will not be returning to grass so they should get booted.
  21. Not because of yesterday but I’d sign Watt (reasonable wages of course) he’s not injury prone, experienced, can actually control a ball and pass, decent level, just needs kept in line for fitness and attitude. As good as or better than a lot of the signings we’ve made the past couple of years.
