I hope their players are as overconfident as their fans and I hope our players don’t get stage fright.
I’m hoping for a repeat performance of how we beat Celtic but with more goals for us.
A win would go a long way to putting us in a great challenging position but a defeat won’t necessarily kill our dream yet but I do agree it would mean it’s more of a dream than a reality. With all the teams having to play each other it remains to be seen if one team can string a run of wins together. To be fair to Hearts they are digging in and are in pole position. Rangers and Celtic picking up wins but don’t look as strong as you would expect. We are the best footballing team in the league right now. Fingers crossed we can translate that into points on the board.
There are certain outcomes we would like to see in games involving other teams but in reality it doesn’t change our approach to any of our games. Take each game as it comes and play to win it.
A draw in the hearts hibs game tonight would be good for us. Of course if we keep on winning then other results don’t really matter too much as long as Hearts drop a few points here and there.
In previous years that would be a comical throw away comment to be taken with a bag of salt, never mind a pinch. However, this time it’s not beyond the realms of possibility and a reasonable forecast.
Another chance to gain on those around us if we can win. Hibs v Hearts tomorrow night amd then Rangers v Hearts at the weekend when we play Aberdeen at Fir Park.
Well shite!
I mentioned score to the wife a few mins ago and she said they’ll get a penalty. I said”No! That’s rangers. With Celtic they just play till they score”. What can i say. 5 mins added amd goal at +7
No surprise there. Just looked at the forecast and it’s more of the same so if it didn’t get called off now it would have been very suspicious. again, looking at their forecast, I’m not sure when next they’ll be able to play a game there !!
Don’t see how continual rain would result in anything less than the match being off.
hopefully there will be some rare common sense applied to provide an early notice of the game being cancelled. If the pitch is unplayable tomorrow and further rain is forecast then call the game off on Friday, why wait till Saturday.
If it’s not postponed it will probably be a mud bath and a lottery. Not a game of football so I think postponing it might be to our benefit for reasons stated in other posts and also ao it doesn’t take away from our football.
