  1. I think SK took him off while he was still able to walk. By Collum standards he was not too bad today but Celtic players were taking turns at clogging Vale and he was letting them get away with it.
  2. Agree, we just don’t have the fan base to keep the club at a level where it can compete. Especially if other clubs are going to have investment.
  3. Once again I thought Vale showed up very well. He puts in a ton of work and looks decent on the ball as well. He took hell of a beating today but apparently the ref thought it was ok. Bevis also had a good game so between them for me but I’ll go with the much maligned Bevis.
  4. Some fair comments re perhaps doing Blaney for Casey. But then who for Gent? Oh and whereever McGinn would have been positioned, right left or middle he was also completely knackered!!
  5. Yep I was adding my tuppence worth alongside your statement. A lot of other posts raggin on SK. He’s been taking heat for not subbing in previous games so now he gets heat when does sub!
  6. SK getting pelters for subs but more down to the performance of the players coming on. Gent and Divine were knackered. Vale had lumps kicked out of him. Casey was struggling with injury. Miller was also tired. Butcher and Blaney just didn’t perform up to standard
  7. I know what you mean but let’s hope not!!
  8. And any appropriate subs at the right time as well as adjusting to any tactical changes Celtic make.
  9. Indeed! Why throw anything out. I’m sure there will be a chance or two further down the line to vote against any proposition put forward.
  10. I meant with respect to the organization of the football club not to the feelings of the supporters.
  11. Yep that’s what I wasn’t sure of, so now you have made it clear
  12. Yup! . Things would still be exactly the same. Just that we would have known about it earlier.
  13. I didn’t realize that WS percentage was so high. I guess the 51% number was just being mentioned as a minimum for the WS to maintain control. Anyway will be exciting/interesting to see where this leads us.
  14. So let’s say the well society vote to not give up the 51% stake in a vote that is split 60/40 within the well society. What does that translate to when taken into consideration for the voting of the shareholders? Does a 60/40 vote within the well society mean that the full 51% equates to a no or does it translate to 30.6% for no and 20.4% for yes ? edit: you can see where I’m heading. If the 49% shareholders said yes and 20% of WS said yes, if the WS vote is taken as all or nothing you could possibly end up with a decision that the majority of shareholders don’t want.
  15. Johnston and Beireth starting for Sturm Graz tonight
  16. As mintymac mentions, I think the best option would be for Derek Weir to extend but would he do that? At the same time who would take the position knowing that they good be gone at any moment.
  17. I would hope not. We should, in principle, be open to any good choices the help ensure the future of MFC.
  18. For me it’s 6am on Motherwell TV. I hate it when they schedule Sunday noon games against the ugly sisters.
