So is this just a Motherwell problem or a problem, in general, for most Scottish sides? How does our recruitment performance compare to other teams in Scotland? If most teams have the same issue then perhaps it’s not the fault of our staff but if we are clearly worse than other teams then maybe it is our staff.

3 games against OF pair and Hearts, wonder if they will play us with same mindset and plan or will they approach it differently? As has been mentioned on several occasions basically every game between non OF teams will most likely be close encounters so could go either way. Disappointing news but need to go into the game with a positive attitude. I think we might see a couple of screamers from Wilkinson around the 20 yard mark. COYW!!!!

That’s 3 games in a row they have not conceded a goal. When was last time Killie went 4 games in a row without conceding? So I’m hoping we manage a couple of goals. 2-1 to the mighty well!!

They will play different against us versus against the OF so hopefully we can create and convert a few chances

Apparently quite a few people missed earlier post (can’t recall who from) Mika recovering from an injury. Limited playing time initially. NOW PAST THAT STAGE. So we now have an injury free player not yet up to full fitness.

We were due a defeat at some point. I’d rather it be in the league cup than in the league. Need to put in better performance against Killie who have started season well.

Somewhat related to this topic. Who do we still have on injured list with target return dates? What players do we have that are prone to injuries. Of course, Butcher springs to mind for first case and Obika for second. I would imagine these would be the areas where we need the cover, although it is good to have squad with competition for places.

Still 2 weeks of the window left. Are we done?

Based on a lot if the pre game posts this week I was expecting a lot more from Hibs attack. Their only shot on target was the penalty. So not as good as we thought or do we have better defense than we give them credit for??
