  1. Accidental hand ball in lead up to goal is no longer an offense and I don’t think it was deliberate hand ball.
  2. I was expecting more from Shaw today but perhaps get more from him playing alongside Biereth.
  3. Well done in not giving up but dreadful in putting ourselves in that position. What a difference Beireth makes with a bit of speed. Young lad showed up well in his brief appearance and got us a point. We look much more difficult to beat when we play one up top. SK will have to figure out how to keep us solid but up the goal threat.
  4. We are less effective with 2 up top or T least with the current two up top
  5. Spittal struggling to complete a pass so far.
  6. Midfield invisible at the moment. Missing the extra man there when we play 2 up top.
  7. However you look at it, the more players we have available, the more options we have. Quite a few good options I think.
  8. It’s alright my body constantly reminds me how old I am. No be long till you’re a grandpa!!
  9. I think if We look deep down we’ll find MJC’s blood type is B -ve. sorry! Couldn’t stop myself. I blame Grizzly’s influence.
  10. And avoiding a game played under conditions where it’s just a lottery who wins.
  11. But the longer we wait the more chance we have of getting our full squad back and available
  12. I wonder if he plans to play Clark second half so they each get some game time?
  13. Wonder if we will appeal? Still not sure if VAR reviewed it at the time or not.
  14. I’ve seen it at least half a dozen times and I still can’t see any trip or clipping of heels. You can see Casey at the referee pointing to the ground as if saying “he tripped up on the surface, not by Miller”.
  15. Well, still in 5th after 4 defeats in a row. SK needs to find a way to get us scoring goals the we can start to pick up points again and stop the downturn before confidence starts to erode. 2 week “break” to work on things, recover from tough schedule and get some injured players back in contention.
  16. 9 points from the next 3 games and we’ll be looking good again
  17. Even after all the replays I’m still not seeing miller trip him or clip him
  18. Couldn’t see where Miller tripped him but no protest so perhaps he did catch him.
  19. Form once I’m ok with the international break
  20. A lot has been said about the attitude and approach of our team when they face the old firm. It’s pretty obvious from the video that our players are not happy at all with a gallant defeat. Let’s hope we can channel those emotions into our next game and get back to winning ways. COYW!!
  21. Captain obvious speaking here but our current set has us playing some delightful football but with too few goals. So I would try Shaw up front for a few games. He seems to be the most mobile and looks to have some skill and positional awareness for a goal scorer. Let’s see what he can do when working with a fresh midfield. Yes, he’s missed a couple of chances but strikers at every level don’t convert every chance.
  22. The good thing is if we don’t know then Livi won’t know !
  23. Im wondering If SK is liking the approach of one up top for 70 mins or so and if not in the lead, then switch to two up top. Or Did he decide that’s our best chance regardless of who we play or our best option for the last 3 opponents?
  24. It may depend who we have available and who we are playing so it might chop and change as the season goes on.
  25. I haven’t watched it again but i thought at the time that Souare was completely the wrong side of the attacker. Therein lies part of the issue or problem for SK or any coach. You have tired legs but players are “tuned in” to the game so do you bring on a sub with fresh legs but perhaps not tuned into the game Or leave on the player tuned into the game but with heavy legs? It could go either way so I can’t be too harsh on the coach. Results have been very frustrating but the last two games especially, I have enjoyed our performance more than I have in a long time. We didn’t roll over but stood face to face with our opponents and showed that while there may be a wide gap in finances, perhaps the gap in ability is not so wide as it is perceived to be. A well used phrase has been used many times with reference to results, bad and good, against our peers, in that it’s fine margins which way the result goes but it would seem now that it can also be applied to results against the old firm.
