Hoping Livi keep it going during the week to keep Utd 10 points behind

We are now 10 points ahead of them and have them at fir park, although they do have game in hand. That might not be a good thing for Utd! If we can go into the split 13 points ahead of them then it’s highly unlikely that they are going to win all 5 games. So at least we would avoid automatic relegation. Let’s hope we can also increase our 6 point gap over Killie and County before the split.

I never let our results ruin a weekend but when we win a game like today and all the other results go our way it does seem to make the weekend so much more enjoyable. 🍻

I also thought the red card was very harsh but that might be just because I was terrified of playing against 10 men!

One of the differences I think is that we make changes during a game to address problems the opposition are causing us. Plus of course not giving up stupid goals helps keep the heads up and keeps our attitude in line so we can go score. 4 games, 7 for 2 against. Not too shabby. While not expecting or thinking that we will beat Rangers next game I am really really really hoping we do.

I’d still be nervous if we stick on 33 points. Any points from OF would be a bonus but the must win game left before the split is versus Dundee Utd. Hopefully take some points from Livi and Hibs as well

Probably just not enough games left to have a real chance of getting in top 6. Especially when 2 out of the 5 are against the OF.

Interesting comparison in goalkeeping styles. County keeper takes command and catches crosses. ‘Well keeper waves at ball as it goes across the face of the goals. Of course being 10 feet tall helps.

We didn’t offer too much in that half. Hopefully we can improve a good bit in the second half.

Cornelius has struggled a bit but does cover a lot of ground and chases down the opposition. Slattery needs to up his work rate off the ball and not be strolling around and FFS stop falling over when you have a chance to make plays.
