Well, Shite! Saw all the activity but none of it us actually signing a player.

Regardless of who the player is. If we can get a player to help us stay up then has to be a yes. Of course has to be within our budget constraints.

While he did hit a purple patch for scoring I think his ability to hold the ball and bring othered into a play is the main advantage. I’m sure he could set up plenty goals for KVV, Mandron and McKinstrey

Our previous game at Fir Park was another game we threw away at least a point. Equalized late on then gifted them a winner. Please can we just have a game where we don’t gift any goals and actually score? 3-0 ‘well. Based on desperate hope!

It’s all about staying up and nothing else. If he can help us stay up we should sign him. Unfortunately, I don’t know the answer to that question.

No getting away from the fact that we are dire but yet other teams are not totally outplaying us. Gifting goals and not able to score are killing us. Hammy has to fix at least one of those issues ASAP. Earlier on in the season we played some nice football and we’re creating lots of chances but now that seems to have gone and the chances are not as frequent any more so we have regressed from what seemed like some early promise. Maybe the new forward who was missing today along with the Japanese guy will help turn things around but we can’t continue with Slattery Goss and Spittal as our midfield and KVV strolling around on his own up top. He either needs some help or someone to replace him that’s going to put the work in.

Yep just dreadful stuff all over from both teams. Terrible game.

I started replying but it was turning into a book, so summary….. none of our midfield players have a football brain, they have no positional sense, no composure, which manifests itself as bad passing and ball control, they are slow. You don’t have to be fast to be a good midfield player but FFS you’ve got to have at least one of the other attributes.

Ok I confess! I did snigger and guffaw but refraining from gloating.

I’m waiting for a bit before enjoying that score in case we have to play Linlithgow.

I can think of at least 2, probably more, unmissable opportunities we have had this season so will be a big help to have someone who doesn’t actually miss them.

Not sure what his goals were like but live text updates described both as shot from centre of box to centre of goal. Not worldly but how many chances have we squandered this season where we just had to hit then Effen target from close in. So hopefully he continues to do that and has a good influence on KVV
