  1. I'd settle for a point. Don't agree with Milo's assessment of Lennon. How would you feel if folk felt it was acceptable to send you bullets in the post. I think you're reacting towards Lennon, the way opposition fans did to Lasley.
  2. Campbell by a country mile. Bowman, Kipre and Hartley for honourable mentions and Tait didn't do too badly. In fact, the whole team, especially in second half, worked well for that victory.
  3. Despite some of my closest mates being Jambos, their team and Director of Football are easy to dislike.
  4. I've heard it frequently from Sevco fans when they're doing their victim stance but this is real money that all clubs receive. In addition, good performances in Europe by any Scottish team benefits us all in co-efficient.
  5. O'Halloran's a loanee, so not pushing too big a boat out on that on plus he wanted to go there
  6. I think part of that is because, like many guys who return to Fir Park, O'Halloran is happy at Saints.
  7. Agree with underboyleheating regarding our defence. Like last season, it's still losing too many goals and I think tightening that is a priority if we are to avoid an end of season struggle like last season.
  8. I tend to agree. Cadden would be a bigger loss to us. In addition if we tighten up defence and stop shedding goals, Louis' goals will be less important, even though they wouldn't be any less welcome.
  9. I'm more concerned about him leaving than Louis.
  10. Didn't say it was higher wages than Moult.
  11. Slightly off topic. Didn't Finnie (he was ref, last night?) epitomise the overall level of incompetence and arrogance of Scottish referees. Amazing how our refs are like clones of Stewart Regan at SFA and Neil Doncaster at SPFL. The last time I saw a good ref was the week they went on strike.
  12. Apparently, Bowman's amongst the higher earners and there were thoughts of selling him and using cash gained to improve offer to Moult. (From a decent club source but not saying who it was)
  13. I agree in that it was a toss-up between those two. But Cadeen shaded it for me. Carson's judgement, so far, looks better than Dykstra's as Sieb despite his iconic status, didn't always get it right.
  14. Frear taken off with groin strain on Sunday. If serious could be out for 3 months, if routine could be back in a week or two.
  15. I agree and I'm a bit concerned at the nature of some of the pass backs I've seen during League Cup matches and them not working out against Premier League teams. Fingers crossed, though.
  16. Thanks. Just saw it. The final result was a sickener but what a goal.
  17. I remember the one in the League Cup semi-final against Celtic even more. Wish I could find footage of it.
  18. Cedric for the full match: I only saw one mistake when he mistimed a jump and ball went over him. However, Cadden did make the difference when he entered the fray.
  19. I loved him, too as did my youngest child (afged 5). Heard from a good source (I can't name him as I don't want to drop him in it) that Robinson sent Skippy home from training at end of last season as he was moaning too much.
  20. I doubyt if we'll sign any of those listed but wouldn't mind Liam Henderson and, perhaps, Gary McKay-Steven
  21. I agree with your analysis. Apart from the gruesome twosome and the Sheep, there's little to choose among all the other teams, and the Sheep could plummet if McInnes goes and they continue to lose decent players. St Johnstone have, consistently, done well and so did we for a good spell in the not too distant past. So, with some competent refereeing decisions, I see no particular evidence for us not being able to finish without any real relegation fears. A good run in one of the Cups would be nice, too.
  22. Bigirimana confirmed as second signing of day.
  23. Traditional home kit and why not the old "floodlight" kit for the away strip: only fellow oldies will recognise the latter.
  24. My mate was talking to Robinson at the POY do and told me that Robinson has at least half a dozen signings lined up and they would be signed if we beat the drop, so let's see who they are.
  25. It has to be Frear for me. He was kicked all over the park as he was on Saturday but kept beating men and getting crosses in and scored his debut goal. Just as well, right enough, as he's off on holiday on Monday and would've had to change plans if we ended up in play-offs.
