  1. But that option doesnt exist online. Thats the whole problem. I shouldnt have to phone or go to the ticket office to complete what is the most obvious choice for most people!
  2. That was precisely my point. I dont need a new cars. Im keeping the same seat, price, class etc. Just need the card updating with the new data, which is why I ticked digital. I went in on Wednesday night and the girl there confirmed that digital only refers to season tickets downloaded to your phone. You have no physical card. I dont fancy that option as I dont trust myself or my phone not to f#ck that up. I was then told to phone the club on Monday and they will be able to fix it. Im still none the wiser as to whether I need a new card or my old one gets updated. All very confusing but we will get their in the end.
  3. Probably. I'd be ok with 3-5-2 with better wing backs. Sparrow is serviceable on the right but Wilson doesnt have the pace and Thompson continually gives the ball away. I think Stama could be the striker we need if he can stay fit. But as you say, probably alongside someone like Watt or Armstrong as opposed ro on his own. We could really do with making that work given the initial outlay on him.
  4. Thought Seddon was excellent. As Ive said elsewhere, Id like us to get him tied up for next season. Calm, assured and hardly seems to waste a pass. Decent delivery as well. Creditible mentions for SOD, Halliday and Armstrong. POTM though was Slattery by a distance. He is integral to everything good that we do and probably the main reason Im not bricking it at Lennon Miller leaving us.
  5. My Hometown is a great song in the right circumstances. Unfortunately, in a football stadium as the teams run out, isnt one of them! 😆😆😆 I remember we used to play the old version of "Up The 'Well". Thanks to The Banter Thiefs for revamping it and giving it new life!
  6. Paton I would agree is probably more of an 8. But Slattery has shown he can play the 10. His goals from midfield since his return have pretty much kept us safe.
  7. On last nights evidence I would be trying to secure Seddon again next season. He is probably the best LB, LWB and LCB at the club and has looked pretty decent in all of those positions. Add into the fact that it has been a problem position for us and he seems like a pretty good sort to have around the place, it seems a no brainer to me. Only issue I would have would be his fitness as he hasnt been available to play much this season. However, I dont recall their being any issues with injuries previously, so maybe he was just a victim of the SK Hex!
  8. Thought it was a thoroughly decent performance last night rather than great. But it certainly wasnt pedestrian or boring. I did have concerns before the game when I saw the team selection as it was clearly going to be 3 at the back with Sparrow and Wilson in the wing back roles and without Maswanhise in the team, I dont think there is a lot of pace. However, there was no Thompson and with the extra midfielder it did look like a team capable of keeping the ball. Thought the game was pretty even up until the sending off, although up to that point Killie had created the better chances. Great save by Ox from the Armstrong free kick, albeit it was never a foul in the first place. After the sending off, which was a stone waller, we were by far the better team. We knocked the ball about well, stayed patient and changed the point of attack to keep Killie doing all the running. You could be picky and say the quality of our final ball could have been better at times, but Killie rode their luck a fair bit. Second half was dominant. We never really looked under any threat, other than a couple of set pieces and we deserved our 3 goals for our patience and for working Killie so hard up to that point. Slattery's goal was a thing of beauty we havent scored a goal as good as that since Spittal left. Overall, I left feeling pretty satisfied. We all know there needs to be changes in the summer if we want to improve but, for me, Wimmer is showing he is a tactically more astute manager than Kettlewell and his brand of football is infinitely better to watch. Lets just hold onto that for now.
  9. The problem with the McCall years, for all they were great, was that those teams cost us a lot of money. We had our highest league finishes in the modern era, but U believe we lost money due to the wages were paying particularly in squad bonuses. Ultimately for a fan owned club, thats not sustainable. I still think we can aim to do better than 8th but we need to spend our money more wisely. We have wasted a helluva lot of cash in the last 5 years on players that havent contributed. If we get smarter in the transfer market and run a smaller squad but with everyone staying fit and contributing, top 6 is still an achievable aspiration. Just look at St Mirren.......
  10. Id like to see him move to the continent. I think he would do well in Italy, Spain or France. If the transfer fee is north of £5m though, I wont be too bothered where he ends up as long as its not in Scotland......
  11. Be nice to get a win and finish the season on a positive. Given most of us wont be in Dingwall it is likely to be the last time we see Lennon Miller in a Motherwell jersey. Its worth turning out, even if only to give the lad the send off he deserves.
  12. Thats what I assumed the digital option was. Thanks for confirming!
  13. Delighted for Lennon. He is an impressive young man. His best days as a footballer though are undoubtedly in front of him. We will need to take comfort in the fact we helped him on his way, gained out of it financially, and enjoy watching him develop into the player we all know he can be. Good luck young man!

  15. No, Im being glass half empty today for a change! 😆😆😆 But we are a great wee club!
  16. Absolutely this. There is still a chance we could break the 50 point barrier, which would be quite remarkable given how shite most of us feel the season has been. Signed up for another year of misery today. Up The 'Well! 😍😍😍
  17. Team selection might be a problem for this one with Koutroumbis now suspended and Balmer, McGinn, Blaney and potentially Gordon all out. Seddon getting some minutes on Saturday was good to see, but hard to seeing him being risked from the start unless absolutely necessary. If he was able to play, he could go in at LCB and let SOD go to RB. If he cant someone is going to have to play out of position. Has Kaleta gone back to his parent club? I had presumed he was injured again but I cant see any update past Feb 24th when the club said he was back in training after his previous injury. Midfield and up front kind of picks itself at the minute. What Hearts will turn up? Just need to wait and see. Be good to at least sneak a draw and maintain our advantage going into the last home game where a win would cement 7th. All to play for. Including contracts!
  18. To be fair to Casey, TJ should have squared it to him for the tap in before it broke off the keeper. He just gets his feet all wrong which, at that point in the game, I can forgive him. Still shoulda scored though! 😆
  19. Aye watched the "no goal" again. The Dundee player IS still offside when the ball is headed forwarded. Its very marginal though and not at all obvious on first viewing. He is trying to close Thompson down though and could be considered "active" but he doesnt play the ball and its Thompsons poor clearance that results in it falling to Portales. It probably is technically the correct decision, but I dont think its a clear an obvious error feom the referee, so if VAR dont get involved, I dont think anyone is talking about it. We defo got away with one. Re the red card, I dont think Koutroumbis has intent to harm his opponent but he catches him really high. Its just a really poor challenge. I wouldnt even appeal that one. Its not of the Balmer variety where there was some mitigation.
  20. Ox was solid. No chance with either goal. The one that stood and one that didnt. Casey was solid. Thought Halliday was the pick of the midfield. Slattery and Miller were a bit hot and cold. Sparrow put in a shift and took his goal well. Voted for TJ as he changed the game. Should have given Dan a tap in at the end, but will forgive him for shooting as we won anyway.
  21. Thank you! 😆😆😆 Fixed it!
  22. Thought it was a decent enough performance today. A bit one dimensional and lacking pace in the first half, but we knocked the ball about ok and created 3 decent enough chances that should have at least hit the target. Dundee did have more shots on target but Ox did well and had no chance with the 2 that did hit the net. Not sure why the second one is ruled out. They are saying offside, but I didnt think you could be offside from a throw in? Much better 2nd half. Maswanhise is the one player we have with real pace and it makes so much of a difference. Slight change of shape second half as well which was good to see. Im liking Wimmers ability to change it up when plan A isnt working. Overall, a great 3 points and nice to be safe with 3 games to go. Will let the Executive Board get moving on our plans for next season.
  23. Was a red card all day long. A very poor tackle. That said, Dundee's defenders got away with quite a lot. They should have seen a few more yellows for persistent fouling. The elbow to the back of the head or in the back in challenges was prevalent.....
  24. His problem is he rarely finds a Motherwell player with a pass. Constantly gives the ball away. His decision making is also suspect. Great assist for the goal though, so credit where it's due.....
