  1. Not sure Ive seen it posted anywhere else, but thats our first back to back league wins since August. Another monkey off the teams back.
  2. Yup. So glad the Board held their nerve in December when it would have been so easy to pull the trigger. We are getting our just rewards now and if we can get/keep everyone fit we could have a strong finish to the season again.
  3. Wanted to save posting about the game until I was sober and a little less emotional. Was a strange experience yesterday watching in hospitality and having ro temper my reactions to the game. Thought we started the game really brightly and pushed Rangers back for the first 10 minutes. Getting the goal seemed to spark them into life and from the rest of the half we had to be very disciplined and defended well limiting their opportunities as best we could. Bairs goal was a thing of beauty lovely build up play and a cracking finish from a man in form and high on confidence. Second half I felt we started to get deeper and deeper as we tired and Rangers did miss a few decent chances. The Rangers fans around us were losing their shit! They really do have this unshakeable seige mentality now and believe the entire world is against them. The irony of the penalty decision was lost on them. We had a pretty decent view of it and although SOD goes to ground the Rangers player throws his legs up in the air as if they were springloaded for contact. As soon as VAR gets involved though, you know its getting given as there will always be one frame where it looks like contact is made and so it transpired. What did surprise me is that VAR didnt look at the Casey tackle again. Its not even a foul in my book as he clearly wins the ball and McAusland gets injured because he pulls out of it, but the bears around us were not happy. Q a rousing rending of "feck the SFA". After all of that it was really pleasing to get the second goal and see SK make some positive substitutions that kept us in the game. Ive been critical of his game management recently so was great to see him get it spot on yesterday. Great performance from the manager and entire squad and brilliant result. Left me wishing I had been down below with my fellow Dossers at the final whistle to celebrate properly! C'est la vie! 🧡❤️🧡
  4. Faddys genuine love for the club is fantastic. Really enjoyed his inputs over the last week!
  5. Turning over Rangers at Ibrox wearing a kit with a sash has a certain ironic appeal, I feel that I can now get behind! 😉
  6. Are you happy to accept we are not bottle merchants now? 😉😉😉
  7. Fucking Yaaaas! That is all! 🧡❤️🧡

  10. I think its between Casey, SODs, Kelly or Mugabi. All were excellent. I cant decide but Im going for Kelly for the double save at the end, and the fact he has had a bit of a hard time recently.
  11. I think the WS has had a bit of a reset with the recent elections. A lot of younger board members with fresh ideas of how to improve things and make it better. Together with a reset on the Board proper it feels like a great opportunity for the club to re-invent iself and make the changes necessary to move forward successfully.
  12. Good point. I dont know. I kinda put that post up whilst thinking out loud. On reflection a share issue diluting the WS to 51% probably makes more sense as KMcAlpin says. Obviously wouldnt be sufficient going forward but would maybe buy the Society sufficient time to put forward and implement their own proposals whilst at the same time looking at other offers?
  13. We definitely need to play on the front foot today. We all know its the best part of our team. Our performances at Ibrox and Parkhead this season have been very good. Here's hoping we get another one and get that little slice of luck you need to get a big result.
  14. This is definitely preferable to what Im reading regarding the 2 offers currently on the table (if correct) and worth exploring. It feels to me like the club board had way too much control over the Well Society and limited its power due to the way it was implemented. I feel as if there is scope for growth there if it is allowed to breath. But like you say it needs time, and time needs money.
  15. Im already as WS Member. But I would certainly consider buying private shares from the Society to raise revenue. Not sure what 19% would.raise, but they would retain controlling interest whilst raising cash. Although, that would go into the Society. So maybe a share issue to dilute to 51% would be better?
  16. Posted on Pie & Bovril. We can raise £2m by engaging with our fanbase to increase membership of the Well Society or offering shares up to a non controlling interest. Or as I said, sell Lennon Miller. Given our model is to develop and sell on players, then selling the entire club for the price of one transfer makes no sense.....
  17. Good move for him. Hope he does well.
  18. Seems to me everyone is trying to attribute their own spin on this to suit their own position. Bottom line is we have voted to consider the options presented to us. Im reading elsewhere that the better of the 2 offers is £2m over 6 years for a controlling share of the club. I think thats giving away our fan ownership too cheaply. That kind of money isnt life changing and not beyond the kind of some we could potentially raise ourselves if the new WS Board are given a chance to improve the Society and what it offers the club. Happy to see the detail and be proved wrong. But, for me, if we are giving up control of the club it should be for transformational money, not the fee we could get for Lennon Miller in the summer......
  19. In think the only Livvy player I would be remotely interested in is Bruce Anderson. But that would depend on the strategy for next season and who else we are thinking about going after/retaining......
  20. With respect, we also dont need to agree with your assessment that EVERYTHING has been shite. I see a young manager struggling for results under difficult circumstances. Making mistakes along the way, but slowly improving things and a squad all bursting a gut for him because they clearly believe in him. You see someone who is either incompetent or not good enough and who will never improve or get better. Thats fair enough. But its way too early to call which is right.
  21. Probably gonna need at least 3 wins and a draw out of those to have any real chance. The fact we have 3 home games and 2 of them are against direct rivals helps. As always its gonna come down to squad size and what injuries and suspensions we have. Keep out important players (Spittal, Vale, Bair, Miller, Devine, Gent) fit and it gives us a chance. Big ask, but not impossible.
  22. Ive scored some hospitality for this, so I bloody hope so! Would be lovely to sit and gloat surrounded by seethe! The hoodoo has to end sometime right? Please tell me it can be so.......
