  1. The two posts above help dispel the theory. Club will realise a market value like never seen soon enough.
  2. Turnbull’s example? That subject has been done to death and no amount of revisionism changes it. David Turnbull extended an existing deal for David Turnbull. Club benefitted from pre-agreed deal with Celtic. Thats not a slate on the player either.
  3. Interested to see your rationale for that thought?
  4. No superiority complex, nor cryptic style. Just a loathing of some who think their £5 monthly sub correlates with knowing every decision or move the club makes.
  5. Perhaps some can stop the knicker wetting and invest in pampers now.
  6. Up there with the ‘pay as you play’ theorists on here.
  7. Go on, be a devil. Change of manager counts for nothing.
  8. Hard, but fair in my opinion. Seen me alright. Then there was Jocky Whiteford and Frank Welsh for a spell. Simpler times
  9. Na, not having that 😂 He was my guidance teacher at one point too.
  10. I’d put money on you rating Harry Paton
  11. If he’s the answer, I’m unsure what the question is. Awful
  12. Nor will he be. He’s returned to his parent club.
  13. Except he became a father prior to arriving at the club.
  14. See Daws name mentioned regularly and I’d wager nobody knows the role or what club demands of him? He’s not known to sign players. only being part of a process. Club invest in data analytics, perhaps the use of that analysis is open for debate. Factor in budget constraints and player demands those who arrive at the club are likely way down the wish list and not recruiters first choice recommendation. A lot of merit in your closing paragraph.
  15. Not seeing any value in renewing. 18 games offers little when you factor in discounted entry for others on occasion for starters.
  16. Empathy isn’t the same as caring for the club though. The winning mentality of a player alters their mood.
  17. Merit in what you say, just felt we asked Armstrong then Plange to do their best work with their backs to goal and fairly isolated. Be interesting to see if our forward line get the rewards decent service would bring.
  18. The Sun and Kettlewell now doubling down…
  19. Suspect it will be all eyes on the director’s box today.
  20. He’s been playing alongside Ross Forbes at Thorniewood for over a year now.
  21. See this often. Daws doesn’t sign players. Oversees a data driven process, that’s a different debate.
