Well, that would be a first! He's as bent as the backroad to Shotts!
  2. and thrice Kind of answered your own point there... I'd agree on your second point mind.
  3. Why don't you go home? Why don't you go home? You're only interim, Why don't you go home?
  4. Replacement bus service between Perth and Inverness methinks... Should have called my dad, he hasn't seen a train crash before
  5. John Potter passed a dope test after Saturdays match anyroads. To think they rate Billy Mehmet down that way too...
  6. Cloudy has been hospitalised with Swine Flu! My match ticket is at his house, could be a fresh purchase at the match. Less time in the Western though...
  7. Not convinced, how many players do we have over the 30 year old bracket? Craigan? Kind of hampers Craig Brown does it not? His last success with any kind of youth level would be 20 years since... Doomed I tells ya
  8. Seriously? Treated like any other who wear the shirt, but, performances when they have been included suggest why they weren't included in other matches... our stands are littered with people who have burst more of a gut for Motherwell throughout their careers and are unlikely to get similar adoration
  9. Craig Brown? In the interim could be a safe pair of hands - I'd suspect it may be to the detriment of the development of our younger players though, citing his tartan barmy tenure...
  10. Not comparing their actual capabilities, it's the need to clamour for ex-employees and journeymen pros from some of the usual suspects.
  11. What? Foran was wanted by some the other week too. We've enough journeymen pros cluttering up the squad at the moment - Were you watching Saturday? As SteveDiggle alluded to on another thread, my fear would be an incoming management team likely to build a team around those who exist and others they may bring in. While Frazza above mentions the extreme of selling everybody around him, I'd build our team around Forbes also.
  12. Blamed for a multitude of goings on, but, cant be tarred with that one...
  13. Anti-football Plenty of sunbed shops to choose from...
  14. Being 'approached' by 4 different sides of late differs from actually attending interviews in club time...
  15. To think this boards sycophants have him at least Championship bound...
  16. Am I missing something? When did the Irish become a race?
  17. Never doubted my source for a minute
  18. You've a game on that night fella.

Had the fella who ran all the way over towards the West Enclosure with arms aloft drop me off in his taxi the other week.
  20. And for a third time ? My point? Shamelessly taking an odd quote from this and another thread... We're now approximately 18 months into his contract, he barely featured in his first six as the then manager had him down as a chump. Much lauded performances by the usual suspects, when in reality a good game is hitting a shot within a foot past the post or winning a foul speaks volumes. Decent creative player? As steelboy posted above "when a players best quality is that he gets fouled a lot then he's hardly going to be difficult to replace". Goal scoring and assist records are there for all to see (entire career if you need further convincing) Stands up against these mythical matches where he's been terrorising opposition defences. FACT. Recent team formations - Was he missed? Doubt it! Jamie Murphy has offered a lot, lot more going forward. As for your closing statements...
  21. Again ? So by your reckoning he's contributed to the winning of two spot kicks, one securing points at Tannadice and the other missed (you can get your hand on the dummy with another at St Midden). His wing wizardry has opposing players sent off which you agree we then fail to capitalise on. So where does he had the strength to our team? Vivid dreams, the Jim O'Brien that you and others get all misty eyed over is a MYTH.
  22. ? One and the same? I'd love to see this Jim O'Brien playing in claret and amber.
  23. To Dianne, credit where credit is due, a big thank you from the players and committee at the Motherwell Fans Club for organising last nights Chrimbo bash at Fir Park. We've seen over the last couple of months the work that you've input and a top night had by all in our company. With his best performance since Scott Leitchs' house the other week, methinks we may have seen Jim O'Brien playing for the last time at Fir Park if the rumour factory is to be believed... All sorts of shenanigans to be had especially Joeboys' dancing technique although Grimmy and Big Tache stole the show for me with the Quo!
