  1. Not getting your first comment at all. Problem? I'd have thought it quite obvious, the tartan barmy we ain't.
  2. Get in the mood to party by all means, it has all the hallmarks of a good 'un. NO KILTS PLEASE, we have enough beauts in our support without them being clad in tartan too!
  3. Eh? if/what... Deary me, post up this coming Saturdays Lotto numbers if you're that good. I'll get myself a right good habit to numb the pain. Keep the faith.
  4. £600,000? Still cannot fathom out how Hibs are likely to command around £4 million for Steven Fletcher when our David topped the goalscoring charts outwith infirm players.
  5. That's a tad unfair is it not, I did the same at the last derby match and spent 5 hours stuck in Hamilton cells for my trouble. Speaking ze deutsch allegedly.
  6. Best bet? If only you'd answer yer phone. Your names down for the coach m'lad. Leaving on the morning of the match and straight home afterwards. Carnage.
  7. What? That scruff is training? I gotta see that...
  8. Free!!! Privilege tickets... THERE WILL BE NO CLOUDY EXPRESS, HE'S STILL TO PAY FOR THE LAST ONE
  9. Absolutely nothing amiss there. It's as simple as Burn_Broomfield has a fondness for the team, big on football Italia that lad and normally where we go, his Irreducibili colours sometimes follow, harmless. Now there were some on this board who made an issue out of certain banners being displayed...
  10. But, he thought Roy Essandoh was a player...
  11. You'd be right. Source? More than one, probably no better than some others, but, hey, I wasn't posting an "I know more than you" shout.
  12. No need to get yer knickers in a twist pet... I'll wager there will be no need
  13. Well, the Sun have it wrong His interview is today... in London.
  14. Foran? Paterson? Why don't we go the whole hog and bring back Ian St. John?
  15. Be hard trying to fit around Europa League exploits or do you lot not fancy it?
  16. That's not the point I was making... agree wholeheartedly on your point re benefits of having experience & knowledge of where Scottish football is at. It's the same old framework though, be it through friends at other clubs or in the media. Not saying it doesn't occur elsewhere, but, do we see the rest of Europe trot out the same dirge? Meanwhile their respective national stock rises. I've spoken at length with a parent who has family members involved at various levels of professional football both past and present and his main gripe is how some of this old boy framework operate, household names many and their actions (not the time and the place to discuss) would surprise if exposed.
  17. Day to day Scottish football has long passed those two by... One of the reasons Scottish football is in the state it's in is due to the old boys network (well, not so much of the old if you catch my drift) as Falkirk will shortly find out. Alex Smith
  18. Don't think the local constabulary would. Me? I'll be in hospitality
  19. Wonders of modern technology and that... get it fired up my good man, that'll get The Lips' dander up.
  20. You've burst nobody's bubble. You would think discrediting him throughout various threads should be enough... Gary himself revealed where his loyalties lie in an issue some seasons ago of either (I'm sure one of our resident stattos will concur) Waiting for the great leap forward or One Step Beyond. Having known various members of his family and spoken to the man himself on occassion, I've never been under the impression he is anything other than Motherwell through and through. His brother was telling me of a probable Liverpool academy post in the past week though! No reason to doubt him, as I recall, he once told us "our Gary's signed for Liverpool" which was met with some hilarity on our bus en route to Elland Road a few years back... the rest as they say is history.

Pardon my ignorance here, I take it pre-orders will be available in the first instance and not a case of forming an orderly queue with those who never pre-ordered?
  22. You couldn't make it up... As has been mentioned before, the only way he could leave them in a worse state than before he took over, is by torching the main stand! What is for us wont pass us by!
  23. There's a good reason why the above never merited mention for any of the jobs going at Sellick, Hibs, Falkirk and ourselves... Overpaid Piss
