  1. Struggled to name anybody in the official poll last night. Brian McLean was awarded the player of the match in the Millenium Club anyroads.

Last nights ball still bandaged up? Has it left casualty yet? See the difference a good quality surface makes? Mark McGhee is correct, our players have to deal with a second touch that is a header. Our pitch was absolutely sodden Main Stand side, badly needed rolled elsewhere and seriously hampered any kind of free flowing football similar to Saturday with a similar team formation. Happy to take a point after a poor second half showing and no bookings especially with Brother McDonald refereeing.

Why the need for the white trim? I know some on this board will have the hand on the dummy for this... please, please, please no white shorts
  4. Well, that good authority should check out Loyal Bobs weekly basic. It'll be good to have that returned to our squad budget... PS, this ain't a 'my source is better than yours' post or an excuse to start calling one of our current employees 'mugger' either.
  5. Highlights don't do the team performance justice at all.
  6. 2K? Don't believe the hype...
  7. Ask their groundstaff the secret on how they do it... or hire them

Another one for the disbelievers... Hughes for me, again at the centre of everything we did well. Sorely missed if he goes.
  9. Whilst doubtful he'll be at Fir Park beyond the summer, he's extended the let on his current house for another 6 months...
  10. Having not secured a league win at their new ground, form deserting them, desperate for 3 points in the relegation scrap - who would they want to play next? Yup, Motherwell. True to form, a little like Tesco, every little helps. Prove me wrong, I'd love to see the back of that weegie overspill.
  11. For those planning on a train day, Engineering Works in the Carmuirs/Camelon area mean no trains will be using Grahamston Station from Glasgow/Cumbernauld. Main line trains to Falkirk High it is and I'd personally taxi it towards town centre/ground.
  12. Going by the preparation of todays pitch... God no!!! The club not own a roller of any type? Similar problems next season, only hope the figure quoted for repairs includes hiring/firing.
  13. I know it's the same street, was it not Dundee we were playing on a midweek night? If so, was on the top deck of the healthy bus. Scored late for a 2-1 win, our first in years and years? 88 or 89 I'm sure, one for the resident stattos?
  14. Looking forward to see how your Cambodian offspring turns out... well, they'll be chumming about with their mother no doubt as the age gap is what? 11?
  15. Competent groundstaff would... Feel a little uneasy that the same outcry will befall the club a year down the line if the remedial works to be undertaken are maintained by the current groundstaff. Well, if you employ a tradesman to carry out works, do you keep paying for the service time and time again until they get it right?
  16. New the layout of the Dalziel top, was looking for it with MFC embossed on it.
  17. Not seeing that at all, can you post a link or the picture for the hard of learning on here?
  18. Maros Klimpl Loyal Supporters Club been displaying the Slovakian Flag for some weeks now and he's remarked on it... He musn't go home.

Sorry big fella, can you not have a word in his shell-like at the next lodge meeting? Just in between walking the goat and the manly test?

Right in front of me, and it is how you viewed it. Exactly. I'm afraid Mr Brines believes he is the star of the show, knowing nobody who has ever attended footy to watch the referee, his supervisory staff should have had this nipped in the bud. And a Cyndi Lauper to boot! ACAB
  21. Not a bad performer throughout, but, Hughes again for me this week - at the heart of everything we did well. United had their 15 minute spell when we couldn't get him on the ball.
  22. Scottish Cup day that, unsure of which round we got beat 1-0, Walter Smith was in the bar with friends and taking the banter in good heart went the place went up! He beat a hasty retreat, as did many from Tayside, legged up Airbles Road after their weaponry ran out. No stabbing, sure it was the same day as mentioned, it was the chief bottle thrower and washer-upperer who had to nurse a skull fracture.
  23. Western Bar was the place to be pre-match Alan_mfc will back this up...
