Should really bookmark the 'SPL quality' goalkeeper posts. This board will go tonto when he's required to play with something at stake and not end of the season bounce games. Here's hoping we sign two proper full backs to protect him...
-
Reckon he'll be returning to the Sheffield area. As for your closing words... A bit more than the likes of ourselves could afford? Seemed very happy with terms recently
-
One of the best? Surely you jest? His touch, yes, can be genius at times, the odd telling through ball & brings a balance to the side, but, his primary role is to defend & that's where his game is lacking & now injuries have caught up with him. The Scotland chat is a red herring given the shoehorning of mould firm right backs into the left back berth as history suggests - I still doubt he could have disposed of any.
-
That's a new one... Same as Ben Hall was recently? 3rd season in second tier - Hibs will have an inflated squad culled & costs cut club wide this year. Concerning if our talent are swayed before we even have them any first team experience, but, guess that's for another debate.
-
See Jack Leitch has announced his departure. Took a career threatening knock at wrong stage in his development. For all Scott Brown has regressed at the San Giro - I've yet to see anybody have him in his back pocket like he did.
-
He'll have a wry smile no doubt.
-
Hibs? Never in the running. Couple of clubs from South & West Yorkshire though...
-
It's as if Josh Law & Steven Hammell never played all season...
-
Hilarious. Bet your the life & soul at your one man party's...
-
A fanny is a useful thing is it not? Should try it sometime.

Wow. Just... Wow. Victory post of the sanctimonious Nobody questioned 'plenty of cases of the fans over stepping the mark'. 'you're not supposed to go on the park?' Who says? Splitting hairs maybe, but, nobody entered the field of play given the match was finished - definitely haven't seen anything in the rules to suggest we deserved the reprimand given. I certainly didn't cry when I had to face the music either as those who know will testify. 'sevco mob' What's one of them? Again, fellow 'Well supporters are fannies? Fanatics, maybe. Dress it up how they like, nothing more than boisterous in an act that was finished and under control as quickly as it happened. I pointed out the unjust finding of tv/media crews being on the pitch - 'fuck off all together' great retort by you! Go straight to the top of the class with that one With an outlook like that, I'd wager the heads of the table at the 'Well Society will be looking to engage your services.
-
I'd wager they'll be no answer to that especially on these boards. Be interesting if change is brought about by the fabled 'Well Society...
-
I'd have said 'projected' was your latter 'won't be deemed good enough' & I'm comfortable with that as that's how the system invariably works. 'actual' if it comes to pass, doesn't align with club ethos unless the goalposts have moved... again. Time to practise what they preach.
-
They'll be some apoplectic on here when the actual break up & not the projected break up of the development squad soon
-
Oh! The uber fan... Nailed fuck all. Those in question have been classed as 'fannies' & now acting like a wank in your recent posts. You come across as a bit of a holocaust, bet, your life & how you act ain't perfect. Whilst I understand the need for increased security measures given threat of sanction(s), that ideal of yours 'if you don't act up, you won't be treated accordingly' should in theory be the case, it doesn't always ring true - plenty of evidence available that backs that up. As been mentioned previously, part of the reprimand placed on the club (upon the world seeing a North African coward take a second prize) was the allowing of the tv/media crews pitch access post match. Laughable in the extreme? Bend over backwards to our media partners for their access all season long. How would the holier than thou on here have dealt with that?
-
Don't be fooled. Celtic are introducing safe standing presumably after successful trials of 'safe folk songs' and 'safe smoke bomb areas', not forgetting 'safe soap & water free areas'.
-
You've already answered your own question... we HAVE safe standing.
-
Doh! Should've wiped the sleep from my eyes... Still, a jump of £100 for a kid not earning as he's at school Further to that, losing fans in their formative years is a big issue for clubs like ours already. Hiking up prices in that age range especially where most go in the East Stand further compounds the problem.
-
I'll be surprised if we go with Samson as number one. The opportunity was there mid season & the decision was taken to keep the loan keeper over strengthening other areas of the squad. I'll be surprised if his demands meet what's on offer
-
Junior now in that bracket - Herald 'for the first time ever' a 16 to 18 year old season ticket then don't display a price...
-
And Jack Leitch doesn't merit similar chance?
-
No denying a successful youth system takes time to bear fruit. But, when the head of youth development and the man appointed to take the helm at the development squad figured they had the 'worst crop' of youngsters you have to say the sterling work done to even get them to last night's platform is just the product of their guidance...

Motherwell Football Club don't exist to keep local business afloat.
