Absolutely, this has not been about one player and rather the mindset of the whole team. We’ve been waving the white flag since kick off. Celtic won’t have an easier game this season. We’re literally sitting back and look frightened to death, a training game.

Agreed, were beat before a ball is even kicked in these games nowadays, the mindset and approach is all wrong,we seem happy to just get these games out the way, even if that means losing 4 or 5.

  2. I was 50/50 on us keeping watt on for this season and now he's rapidly became one of our most important players,it looked like he had put the work in over the lockdown period and it's really paying off,he looks in great shape.our club has this nack of feeling like home that's able to get the best out of players that have maybe struggle elsewhere, hopefully were starting to see that with watt.if he keeps these performances up then we should be readying a new contract by the end of the year.im glad we're back playing 433,i think there's a lot of potential in the front 3 that started yesterday and add in how well maguire has done since he came in and o'hara since dropping back,we look a lot more comfortable than earlier in the season and the fact that we aren't making so many daft mistakes at the back has obviously helped.

You’ll never get the best or for that matter anything out of him if you play him out wide

Agreed,it's a waste of time playing long out wide as he's just not interested, both watt and cole worked there socks of yesterday while long went through the motions, the only thing he put any effort into was chopping down the county player on the touch line.

I think McGinley just needs time, he’s spent more time injured than playing but there are certainly signs he’s not a dud signing.

I said the same after the st johnstone game i think it was, that mcginley was just needing some time to show what he could offer,he played really well today and if we can have a full back that puts crosses in like that one today, then that's always a big plus.

If Campbell does indeed go on Monday without a QUALITY couple of signings arriving at the same time, we are in deep, deep shit

I really hope we have some contingencies in place if campbell was to leave,i would like to see us sign a midfielder that's comfortable on the ball and that can make us play from the middle of the park and that's before any thoughts on wee alan leaving,a winger would be nice to but i suspect if we go back to the 3 up front then cole will play left side.

Strange signing - I don't believe we needed any more strikers.   A lack of getting the ball to the striker for clear opportunity has been the issue.

    Hope it works out.

I just don't get this signing either, strange was my first thought too.who knows what the plan is for our forward line for the rest of the season,it just seems all rather messy.robinson has to get it right or we will be in for a struggle all season.

Not a huge fan of Cole in truth. I’m not convinced he’s the answer.

I'm not a fan either,i don't think he will bring anything different to what we already have, surely if we're interested in bringing him back we must be looking at getting one or two out the door, our forward line is already bloated with to many not making any sort of contribution.

I like home grown players. I've only really seen MaGuire a few times and he looked slow as a centre half.  My frustration with Robbo is he thinks well let's see if he can play in another position and make it work.  It rarely works.

We should have let him go last season.  We're only now considering him due to very poor transfer window .

Agreed,it would have benefitted both parties if maguire had moved on,giving him a new deal and 2 years at that, seemed strange but he must be rated enough but yet he's hardly seen.we have 4 games coming up against teams we really needing to be taking points from,i would be happy enough if maguire got a decent amount of playing time in they games but that's mainly down to the dross that's been playing and not because i expect him to be an answer to our problems.like i said earlier in this thread,if maguire is in the managers plans then get him in the team and not just bring him on as a substitute when other players have already let us down.

  9. We can talk about them having better players and budgets all day long but the reality is we are paying guys a decent wage and for that the least you expect is to compete and show some pride an professionalism and there's been none of that today, there's far to many jokers in our squad the now,we need to be actively looking to get some out the door, get agents told there players are no longer required and do what's needed to move them on,no more nicey nicey, this squad has relegation candidates all over, none of the basics of football are being shown.
