How many times do our full backs get caught out with the ball in behind them,lamie has zero positional awareness and his attempt at getting back was embarrassing,he's simply not good enough for this level.

Joke of a penalty,the ref smiling after he gave it sums it all up.

Hopefully big bevis can come back in and have a good game as none of the rest of our defenders can be trusted,i have visions of lamie giving away a penalty.sit back and let the game drift by and we will get battered,best chance we have is to have a go and see where that gets us.

Totally agree,he sold the jerseys big time tonight and ended any chance we had of getting back into the game,the captain should lead by example and he does that.he's been poor all season and if being captain is affecting his game,it should be taking off him immediately before he costs us again.

I said it after the accies game and I'll say it again,our decision making this season has been criminal,from the penalty at ross county right through until that tonight.this isn't quite an odense what if moment but still feels like we have let a great opportunity slip through our fingers.

We really are the architects of our own downfall,well in the tie and kamikaze defending has cost us yet again.gutted as there was a decent chance of going through tonight.

I've been following us long enough that it doesn't bother me like it used to when one of our best players leave but I'll genuinely be gutted when campbell leaves,he epitomises everything that's good about club.hopefully he's here for a bit longer but I'm sure there's a good move just around the corner for him,i see no reason why he can't do similar to john mcginn and go and make a name for himself down south.

Terrific result,hopefully that's us starting to turn the corner now.it was great to see a level of performance that we know were capable of,fair dos to watt,he was outstanding and wee al just proved yet again that he's head and shoulders above ferguson.

Totally agree,i said on here at the time that giving maguire a new contract made no sense,it would have benefitted both parties had he moved on.i wouldn't be surprised if he's punted out on loan now.our recruitment this season has been dreadful,we tried to get our business done early over the summer and it's backfired on us,like you said,to many average jo's in our squad right now.

Strange signing,hopefully this guy can do is a turn but loaning a player deemed not good enough for livingston is concerning,especially at a time when were crying out for a wee bit of quality,if this signing pushes the likes of maguire further out the picture,then what was the point in getting him on a new contract over the summer.

Were through and that's what its all about but we can't let that fact paper over the cracks,we are in serious trouble with this current set up,there's zero positives about us right now and there are no signs that things are going to improve anytime soon.

I never thought i would say this after the first 2 or 3 games this season but mugabi is coming on leaps and bounds,he had another good game today and actually doesn't look to bad with the ball at his feet now,long may it continue.

Dire stuff yet again but thankfully st johnstone are just as powder puff in front of goal as we are and the one bit of quality in the game came our way.

This second half is going the same way as the utd and accies game,if we don't get the finger out were going to chuck this away.

We've had a break to hopefully iron out our problems,we have to see a reaction,if we see another lacklustre performance then the alarm bells will be starting to ring for me.i don't care how we do it but 3 points is a must.

Hopefully there's plenty of work getting put in over the international break and we can come out much improved.its to early to push the panic button but if we put in another lacklustre performance against at Johnstone after having a break then the alarm bells will be ringing for me.

It was all about getting through and doing it with a few goals was a bonus but there's still a lot of work needing done,we should be looking at a short term option at left back until the injuries clear up as moving odonnell there to accommodate grimshaw just can't happen,grimshaw is a nightmare that seems to cause nothing but problems.good to see polworth back with a decent performance.

I totally agree with the other points you make but i actually think letting hartley and tait go was the right decision,we probably had as good as we were going to get out them,it's been our recruitment over the summer that's been the problem,not one signing looks like they have anything to offer an added to some of the dross that's already here then we really are in trouble.
