At least he sees there is a problem.

Obviously there are questions about why it takes until 75 minutes to make a sub when we are playing with 7 men but small steps.

Pretty scathing from robinson there, hopefully its the boot up the arse that the majority of them are needing

Gallagher should also be called out for his constant hoof ball to no one

Agreed,he actually looked pretty decent at times last season in possession but for whatever reason he's now resorting to hoofball stuff, that long ball he played in the second half tonight was that bad,it actually looked like he was trying to score.

  3. We look like a team that's starting from scratch rather than one that should be building on a really good league finish last time out.the fact that we have tried umpteen different combinations up front already is a concern and not one player has done anything worth mentioning, why are we still trying seedorf on the left and the least said about playing long out wide the better,we seen last season when he played there that he offers nothing, we bring hastie on and yet again stick him on the right where right now he couldn't beat a man if his life depended on it.robinson can't legislate for some of the idiotic decisions our defenders have made so far this season and he must be tearing his hair at the likes of the penalty we gave away tonight but he's preached the back to basics stuff since he's been here, well he needs to start that now and play guys where there most comfortable.i really don't have much trouble with the midfield 3 we started with tonight, for me its our strongest but unless we can sort the forward line out and stop giving away stupid possession away from the back, with guys just taking the lazy option and hoofing it up the park were going to continue to struggle,if we can get a couple of points from our next 3 games,i think we will be doing well.

That's coz Long is playing fuckin right wing for some reason.

I'm a Robinson fan but this is madness. Grimmy is a makeshift right back. Long isn't a right winger. Play players in their fuckin positions!

Long is a waste of time playing out wide,we seen that the few times we tried it last season, fuck knows why robinson still thinks its worth trying.

Mugabi was not the worst today but is really not good enough ……… don’t know what Barry Maguire has done to Robinson

And are we trying to turn into Livi …… what are these long throws all about never looked likely that anyone would get on the end of on

And we seemed to have reverted to 40 yard diagonal balls from the back ……… not even remotely in the vicinity of a Motherwell player

The constant long throw in every time we were in the final 3rd was a complete waste of time, fair enough try it a couple of times especially when were needing a goal but we were either fouling or it was easy for the utd defence to deal with and its not like gallachers throw ins are likely to cause trouble, they were barely making it to the first group of players in the box and until white came on there was really nobody to be aiming for anyway, baffling stuff.

Grimshaw gives us nothing need a new starting right back and I would start seedorf looks like he actually wants to try!

Grimshaw was dire,he gave away a foul inside 30 seconds and that set the tone for his performance, the less said about his distribution and throw ins the better.

Agree with the above, definitely a player there. one on one I was always confident he would score. I loved that 2nd goal away to Dundee.

in fact, that was just a cracking day out.

The 2nd goal at dundee was my favourite from last season,it was just great play all round.i would like long to stay, you could see as the season was progressing that he was improving all the time and his pace was always a threat,if we can keep him or sign someone similar then giving all the uncertainty thats been going on,we will find ourselves in pretty good shape.

The reverse of our traditional claret hoop/amber shirt has been utilised several times over the years by various manufacturers. Here’s my ‘what if’ adidas had produced it in the 80s. I think it’s probably due a reboot as we last utilised it in 2002.

I was only 8 back in 91 so i dont remember a great deal from being at the game or the day in general but the one thing i do remember was my rangers supporting pal begging to be stevie kirk when we went for a kick about out in the street later that night .i never get tired of watching the final, seeing darren jackson greeting like a big lassie when he went up for his medal is a particular delight.
