  1. Mcghee needs too settle on a formation and tactics and stick too it,theres no need too be changing things about all the time for what looks like trying too nulify the oppositon.we have one of the best strike forces in the league in mcdonald and moult and they should always be played as a pairing, splitting them up and playing one out wide and one through the middle on there own is madness.i would like too see us go 4-4-2 with ainsworth on the right and cadden moving inside,we nadly need some energy and forward thinking in central midfield.left midfield would be a problem but maybe playing chalmers there would help hammell who is playing poorly right now, then theres samson who imo has always been a shite keeper,he needs too be dropped as the defence looks dodgy enough without him fucking up everytime the balls goes near him.

  2. it would be ideal if we sold johnson and we could get a replacement on loan as part of the deal.i wonder now that laing has gone will that allow us too bring a new player in no matter what the situation with johnson.whatever happens it doesnt look like were in for a boring end too the transfer window.

  3. How would that help us? How would that help him?

if he wants too leave us haggis why should we be looking too help him.it will be interesting too see what happens if he does stay, remember pearson got it tight for asking too leave the first time he was with us.hopefully the club stand firm and don't just cave in just because were heading towards the end of the transfer window.

  4. the transfer request shouldn't mean anything,if the club dont get the money there looking for then he goes nowhere and if he wants too go in the huff then he shouldn't train with the first team or be involved in any games.

  5. after the 7-0 game and that last night which imo was worse i won't be back too watch us at parkhead anytime soon.i wasn't expecting us too get through but there's always that bit of hope but that was gone in no time as it was blatantly obvious early on we had no ambition of making a game of it,bringing in chalmer's who is out his depth at the best of times into a game like this is a waste of time.we still seem too have the same problems in midfield as we did last season and having seen clay three times now,i hope im wrong but he looks pretty poor.it's early days but as professionals the management and players should be scunnered with that performance last night and hopefully because of that we see a positive reaction on saturday.

  6. Cheeky sods. 300,000? And they consider that a very good offer? Nice to see the club not caving and snatching such a poor offer even though it would have been a good return on what paid.

totally agree it's a joke that they consider £300,000 too be a very good offer especially when they just sold a player too leeds for £3 million.

  7. even though we have a small squad it would be best if we loaned thomas out for the season,he definatley has ability but playing the odd few minutes here and there isn't going too anything for his development also he should be looking too bulk himself up a bit like cadden has done.

  8. only in this country would there be such a big rumpus on the day the fixtures are released for the new season, the game is a fucking joke and the chancers that are in charge should have been chased a long time ago.

  9. i would take erwin back on loan provided it was for the full season as i think he could offer us something different too what we have, his goals home and away against killie last season showed he definately has ability.imo we need another striker as we should be looking too loan mackin out and i'm not convinced that moore is the answer.if we can keep skippy then both him and moult would be ideal for erwin too learn from but having said that theres other areas of the squad that need addressing first and unless we were too sell someone then i wouldn't be surprised if we don't have the budget for another striker.

  10. Does anyone actually put any stock in anything McGhee ever says in interviews?

He's not got a great track record of telling the truth.

aye that's very true, hopefully he's talking pish about saying samson is gonna be our number one next season

  11. Hammell and Lasley is particular have done more then enough for Motherwell to warrant being treated with well. They are modern day legends and it would be really sad I think if they left under these circumstances.

as much as they are modern day legends the club doesn't owe anyone a living especially as were totally skint.i highly doubt even with taking a cut in wages that hammell and lasley would get offered more money elsewhere giving there age and it would most likely be teams of a similar size too us that would sign them.

  12. mchugh clearly wasn't good enough when he was with us,he should have been let go 2 years before we eventually got rid of him too allow him too build his career elsewhere, mccall giving him that new contract when he did was stupidity.

  13. with some of the under 20's hopefully close too making the step up i can see why mcghee would want too keep as many of our experienced player's at the club as well as rely on them too keep making a contribution to the team.were lacking in the full back position's as well as centre midfield and even if we are offering player's reduced terms too stay i just hope there's some money left too strengthen those areas of the team.

  14. there does seem to be a real professional approach too our youth system now which was sadly lacking for year's,i think having someone like cragg's in there with his passion and love for the place and know's how important bringing through younger player's is for the future of the club is going too vital going forward.
