The Motherwell facebook page is full of hundreds of fans saying how sorry they are he's gone - that's not someone who lost the entire support in my view. Anyway onwards and upwards. Nothing else for it

Him criticising fans though wasn't going to lead to the entire support turning their back on him surely - because there are sections of our fans who have had nothing good to say about him since the day he was appointed - fans can criticise him but he can say nothing back?. I think thats a bit odd. Particularly because he gave that interview after a section of our fans were shouting abuse at him after the cup game I also think there are too many sweeping generalisations about him losing the fans and fans turning their back on him - the Motherwell fc facebook page tonight is full of people saying sorry he's gone - so clearly the entire support wasn't against him Edited to say I'm talking in general

A suspension doesn't mean he's abused someone - someone on here who sits near him at Fir Park said that they never heard him abusing officials - I'm sure they said he was no different from last season when he wasn't being carded - am sure some people felt he was being targeted because he criticised referees

There's no evidence that Stuart Kettlewell abused officials - people who sat near him said otherwise - people can slate him for many things but let's not make things up as we go along -and there are plenty people who are sorry he's gone - the Motherwell facebook page is full of people saying they are sorry.

I personally think there's probably a lot of factors that we won't ever know about. I also personally don't think this would have been an easy decision - he always came across as committed to Motherwell - no matter his faults

That's fair enough - but I stand by what I said earlier - and - if you look back at Kettlewells post match interviews over the last two years - he's been hugely supportive of the players There are also some people who think the comments he made in that interview were aimed at pundits rather than fans I agree the writing was on the wall. I just don't think the bust up with Casey should have been made public - Kettlewell is getting criticised for slating players but an argument with Casey is all over fans forums - what's the difference?

There's been a few people on Facebook who have said tonight that he and some players got a lot of abuse at both the St Johnstone games. I personally don't feel like I've been thrown under the bus - because I've never abused him - and like I said the other night - I don't think any professional footballer should be downing tools. Until very recently I was living well below the poverty line - I've scraped the money together to get both of my last two years season tickets and some very well paid players just decide to pack it in - not good enough in my view - and some of them have done it with other managers as other folk have said Aye that statement will have rubbed folk up the wrong way - but it's not all on him
